Maybe you would be an insomniac billionaire? Still, you've had rides in them, which is cool. Describe!

Looking at the Maybach pictures made me search - found this HD vid of one in Germany, I want to be the woman in this plus chauffeur minus boring b/f....

OMG, that is really something! I would like to be her too, love the bit where she leans back and shuts her eyes and floats along. The open top roof would appear to be a problem should it rain, but perhaps the chauffeur hastily erects a tent or something?

honestly?
........his particular mondeo is probably one of the worst mondeos for ride comfort :| he has the titanium x one with this sport pack, which comes with those really large alloy wheels with low profile tyres >_>
Rolls Royce Phantom, Maybach Zeppelin, Bentley Mulsanne, BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class or a real Range Rover.

All of the above are pretty sublime but not my cup of tea. If I could be driven around in any car? At the moment if would probably either of these two beauts... More fun :auto:

Yes i'm a billionaire but don't tell anyone :colone:

For the kind of cash that Maybach costs i'd rather buy a nice powerboat, not to mention it depreciated like a rock and will lose about 50% of it's value in the first year.

This Rolls Royce is a billion times cooler and you even get an umbrella that pops out of the doors

Those two are designed for you to drive not be driven in. Why would i pay somebody to drive me around in a Ferrari?

Those are cars you want to drive, not be driven around in, surely? I am in search of luxurious experiences, not risking my neck hurtling around a race track. It's a girl thing, most probably.

An umbrella pops out of the door? Not sure I can easily visualise how that works. The Ghost looks really nice though, want, need.

Correct. Oh dear what was I thinking haha. I have to admit it would be fun driven around a track by a race driver in either of these cars but after about an hour I'd be begging for a go.

Erm... In that case I'd probably be driven around in a nice BMW M5. Comfortable, plenty of room in the back but still has the fun element so you don't fall asleep.

The M5 is also something that you drive yourself but you could use it as a chaeuffer car if you wanted.

High performance cars are generally designed for you to drive yourself around in and thrash around a track, not pay someone else to drive you around. It's like paying somebody to have sex for you.

Range Rovers are pretty nice, yes, because you can store loads of shopping in them and they are very pleasurable to ride in - I prefer the front seats to the back, but you can also get custom jobs with rear seats that lift your legs up and give you a more comfortable sitting position that are really tops. Some other cars are very nice to be chauffeured in though - a top of the range Bentley takes some beating for sheer sense of style and classiness.

Bentley's aren't that great unless you're sitting in the front, the rear seats are awful, I had the misfortune of being in the back of a GTC, bad experience.

The Rolls Royce Phantom is a better shout, the previously mentioned Maybach is practically a first class Limo and the new XJ looks promising.

It's built into the door, you click the handle inwards and it ejects outwards.

Crikey. What happens if an elderly lady happens to be standing right there when you press the button?

All the petrolheads know what they'd have though:

A GTC is a cabriolet so it's not going to have a ton of space in the back. If you want a good drop top try the Azure.

I know, I was crammed in there.

It's not my car of choice, I'm not a fan of new Bentley's anyway.

There are only a few cars I'd buy if I could:

Lancia Delta HF Intergrale EVO2

Ferrari 360 CS

Land Rover Defender

Lexus IS200
