Kerry people don't seem to care much, as they expect to win every year - unlike most county's who go mad anytime they're in the final!
"Complacancy is a greater foe than man nor beast shall ever be" - lyrics from an old song of mine. Kerry had better be careful, as if they expect to win, they could be in for a nasty surprise.

Yeah i definalty agree about Kerry expecting to win. There so smug. Its unreal. Im going to the irish centre theres loads of Mayo fans going, theres quite a few in my area. It should be a good game. I watched the Derry fgame to, it was really good, not many people would keep there cool against PSG.

You looking tickets? Most clubs are given a set number of tickets regardless of which county they actually are in so if you know anyone who plays football at county level im sure they'd be able to give you a hand

Wow, that was hard to watch. Very poor game, and never a contest. Two dreadful defences, and Mayo were nowhere in any position. Very sad for McDonald, who definitely looked like he was carrying a knock, but it wouldn't have mattered as Mayo's defence was nowhere to be seen.

It looked like they had more men on the field. I really didnt want Mayo to be embarresed with the result and thats what happened. Kerry Trashed them. Im really gutted but i had a really great day in the pub watching it and my dad had an amazing time meeting hios family in Dublin. I think it was an acheivement to get the final and they should be proud. I was proud to show my red and green even if we lose.

Still take a while to get over the result.

Commiserations. Losses in a final are hard to take. The Dublin game took too much out of Mayo, I think.

I still havent got over the shock, They should be proud of what they acheived. I saw my dad at the airport and all these people got of with Red and Green banners loking pretty miserable so i knew the Dublin flight had arrived. My Uncle said it was a long way home. A mate of mine is having 30 days of Mourning, bless him, hes Mayo mad.

What are we going to talk about without the football.

Oh and Sprokette, Who won the minors, was it Roscommon?? and Welcome to the board.

    Oh.My.God

That was horrible to watch. Got tickets, Hogan stand lower tier, but now kinda wish I hadn't. There was no contest though, Kerry had more presence from the beginning.

Tell me.. was it a record defeat?

    Maybe next year!

Personally I found the whole match a total farce honestly. Never in my life have I seen scores like that for a supposed All-Ireland final. It was disgracing as the plays were practically tic-for-tat and there was no driving force for Mayo whatsoever and neither team were concise. I know from experience of watching Kerry especially when Tyrone played them they usually lay low and then keep picking up the stamina - everyone knows this and Mayo should have anticipated this.

There is always next year. I think Mayo had a really bad day, Maybe they over took another funeral.

McDonald looked in awful form personally they did well to get to the final is what i keep saying.

Whens the next Euro qualifier does anyone know. Looks like we may be in trouble as theres No Given as he has done something to his spleen and Paddy Kenny is injured to. So i dont know who the other Keeper is.
