According to the leftists on this forum it benefits them?

Considering you can't feed one child yet produce 6, Hmm....... I see no beneficial factor what so ever.

Money should be spent on setting up abortion clinics and air dropping condoms with instructions in every African language plus pictures.

They would burn the paper for fire and use the condoms for storing stuff.

becasue many of them are catholics and the pope (being a nazi) condemns the use of condoms

Then don't have sex?

I'd rather they ****ed a tree or something.

It would help if they abstained but I guess they have urges and stuff that we can't prevent.

some of you make it sound as if all african women are shooting babies out of the v zones. you do realise that africa has the highest rate of rapes to the population (the middle east comes second). Therefore family planning and abortion isn't available in many areas due to idiotic religious beliefs (american exported anti-abbortion christianism and islam) therefore abortion clinics are non-existant in many parts or if they were there, anyone who goes to use it have to be careful for their safety. Secondly, as many of you have noted the infant mortility rate in most parts of Africa are absolutely dreadful therefore the couples who are in actual marriages/relationships have to have a multiple number of children because some will inevitably not make it to their 18th birthday. Thirdly HIV/AIDs is another major killer, many women do not know if they are infected until very late and most babies who are born with it die. It sucks to be them and tbh if their lives got better drastically then the birth rate would hugely reduce in number.

You can see it in the uk, the first generation migrants have like 4-12 children, and their children will likely have 1-3 children until the 3rd/4th generation where those children grow up with british ideology and do not want kids until their 30s because at that point their lives are so comfortable that their biggest worry is kids.
I thought some of it was down to the culture i.e. If a man hasn't got many children or can't produce children (because they've used birth control) he's laughed at. So he has lots of children never mind he can't provide for them.
And had also heard the man comes first, wife and children later so his needs come first and I imagine this include sex whether his wife wants to give it him or not.

If this occurred then this proves to the world why African nations shouldn't be helped.
If they were truly starving they'd be infertile so they wouldn't be having children. Those who do have children are struggling to survive, but part of survival is procreation. The need for extra hands to work and someone to look after them in their old age, coupled of course with a lack of birth control, leads parents to have multiple children, especially when they expect that some will die in infancy or their early years.

Although my reply was mostly humorous, I have read of examples where stuff like this actually happens - forms of aid are used for something completely different, or they simply dont want to use them/understand.

Its because the families want children to carry on the family businesses, and to get help without having to pay them.
It's also because they haven't been educated in birth control, so they don't know how to prevent getting pregnant easier.
I would have thought the anti-contraception campaign of the Catholic church would have something to do with it.

High infant mortality and they need the children to act as extra labour to increase their productivity and look after them when they grow older due to the complete lack of a welfare state. It's a risk/reward game, the individual parent bets on the productivity of their children against the increased material burden they represent.

One cause of starvation ie. lack of rain, that causes crops to fail, doesnt happen all the time. People usually go about their day to day business, but if bad weather occurs they are left where they have both little money to buy food but also failing crops to feed themselves.

Is rape and sexual assult statistics not like really high in Africa? I know that rape is one of the main weapons that rebels will use in the wars. No matter how them children got there it is just terrible what they have been born into through no fault of there own, so who cares what circumstances caused their birth, no child should be born into poverty and war and we all have the responsibility to help them however we can. Very little to us can be a lot to them.

Considering they can't afford clean water I highly doubt that condoms are a top priority for them to spend their no existant money on!

Try telling that to the horny men of Africa.

People have sex, and birth control isn't readily available. I do wonder about their take on sex education though.

Sex education? Seriously how many of them people in poverty can afford any education for their children, I doubt that teaching them about sex is the first lesson the children will be taught!
