Re: The TSR Pokémon Society III
It's lovely having no exams, now I can sit back and enjoy the Euros

I've abandoned my HeartGold Nuzlocke since it would've been a pain rebuilding a team basically from scratch just to fight Red, and I'm going to restart my SoulSilver Nuzlocke when I get a chance to transfer my 'survivors' and Lugia over. I let Laura borrow my Diamond and within a week she got all of the badges only losing 2 Pokemon, she's craaazy when it come to Nuzlockes
Also, the Dream World is apparently closed from now to the 21st of June(?), kind of annoying since I'm back home and I'd have been able to abuse it for a bit

Re: The TSR Pokémon Society III
Is it worth me getting the Japanese version of Black 2?
I have a Japanese Heart Gold because I couldn't wait for the English release, but I'd played through Gold and Crystal so many times I knew the story inside out, so I knew what I was doing.
I'll be at uni when the English version comes out, so I don't think I'll have any time to play it. I have the English version of Black, but I've only played through it once. Will that be enough to get me through Japanese Black 2, or will I struggle with all the new stuff they're putting in?

) - personally I'd wait, because Black and White had much more of a focus on the storyline, and I'm expecting more of the same since it's a direct sequel.
I tried playing a Japanese version of Black a while back, and it's difficult not just because you don't know what people are saying but you don't know what the replies to their questions are, which moves in battle do what etc. You'd be able to manage eventually, but you might find it a little difficult from time to time.
The choice is yours, but if you do decide to get the Japanese version, please, no spoilers

Now you've said I'll have time to play it at uni, I think I'll definitely wait, thanks

1) Drink 1 for every 30HP lost
2) Drink 1 to play a trainer
3) Drink 2 for every prize your opponent takes
4) Drink 1 to evolve
5) Drink 3 to play a pokémon EX or Lv.X card
6) Drink 1 to put a pokémon on the bench
7) Drink the pokémon's retreat cost to retreat
8) Drink 1 for every 20HP healed

Re: The TSR Pokémon Society IIIThere are so many now(Original post by Artymess)
I wouldn't even know where to begin
Last time I played there were only 151 and everybody had a foil Machamp
it's confusing, and you can end up spending a fortune if you want anything fancy, but you can have a damn good game with a friend and a prebuilt deck each
From the most recent 'dark explorers' set I'd recommend the water/dark 'shadows' theme deck

thanks for the recommendation
But raiders also looks good
I'd much prefer ghosts, but psychic is close enough

I want Ho-oh
I chose the Raiders deck, but bought the Zoroark/Zorua cards separately. Also the new Mewtwo/Darkrai EX tins will make the card prices fall, so hopefully more competitive decks.Last edited by Luhar; 14-06-2012 at 15:17. -

I'm am a pretty decent drinker but I will honestly admit I would die before finishing that board
. I though the Lord of the Rings drinking game I played the other day was hardcore but this ruins it
