Would Cradily be acceptable as a ground-type wildcard? It is an over-grown plant after all

I'm sure Gofre has his Dragon gym ready
I've got a team that I can use, it's probably going to see major overhauls once the metagame settles down again and things get banned/unbanned. Lots of shiny new toys for my type, on one end we've Druddigon getting Stealth Rock, on the other there's Haxorus with Superpower and Aqua Tail and the return of freaking Soul Dew :woo: I'm guessing that we'll se a return of the Soul Dew clause but I really hope not, simply because defensive Latias would crap all over rain teams.

    I would allow it personally.

Cradily's fine with me for a Ground wildcard as well.

Spoilers relating to Black and White 2:
    Spoiler:
    Show
If anyone's checked Pokememes recently, you'll already know about this - Serebii's been updated with the details of a Key Item called the Shining Charm. This item increases the chances of encountering a shiny in the wild by 300% (approximately 1 in 2000)
Even better, if you use the Masuda method of breeding with this item in your possession, the chances increase to 1 in 1024 :eek3:

The catch? You have to have seen every Pokemon in the National Pokedex - completionists, start your engines :awesome:

I'm in the middle of clearing my room out, I've stumbled across my remaining pokemon cards :woo: This consists of:
-An assortment of common/uncommon cards ranging from the base set up until about Neo Genesis
-A sleeve of assorted rare pokes
-A sleeve of assorted rare trainers
-A sleeve of rare legendary pokes and promos, including all four promotional cards from the first movie
-Two completely unopened Starter Gift Boxes from the base set

Needless to say, major nostalgia hit =P Does anybody know of any decent valuation sites? Trying to gauge if any are worth parting with.

If it's seen, then the challenge isn't too bad. If it is catch :afraid: EDIT: It is catch : http://www.serebii.net/black2white2/dexcompletion.shtml.
Also, you can get Poliwhirl and Vulpix with their Hidden Abilities in the Hidden Hollows! http://www.serebii.net/black2white2/hiddenhollow.shtml

Just spent about an hour soft reseting for a female Snorlax and catch it on Firered. Found 3 in total, the first 2 decided to attack rather than resting to survive and my leech seed would take it out.
Currently own 65 - hate trying to catch Chansey and Tauros as they keep fleeing. Also Dratini keeps fleeing and Scyther is nowhere to be found however I can just play at the casino to get them.

Yeah, that's the problem with something like that buuuut according to the link in the post above, it excludes event legends, so casual gamers like yours truly may actually be able to get it too :woohoo:

In my quest for the Chansey in the Safari Zone, I only go and bloody find a shiny Tauros! Annoyingly I threw a safari ball, it shook 3 times and then broke out only for the Tauros to flee immediately after :banghead: .

Funnily enough, my younger brother had said that this happening was why he didn't like the Safari Zone.

Are we doing this gym thing? I've got my flying team finalised and a new guy who wants to be a bug gym leader.

Took a break from Pokemon related activities to play through Radiant Dawn again; now I've completed it I'm at a loss as what to do now (can't wait for Fire Emblem 3DS though!). Tempted to play through Sapphire to catch as many Pokemon as I can for the Shining Charm in BW2, but I don't really have the motivation for it right now. If anyone's got any suggestions for good tactical/RPG games for the DS I'm all ears

For the PO gyms, I could make a list of all the gym leaders that want to make a gym and then ask Skipp to update the OP with everyone's names, but I won't be able to organise and/or battle myself. Also, just for variety's sake, I'll limit the number of gyms a person can be a gym leader for to one each unless there's a lack of people who want to be a gym leader. Remember, we need people to challenge the gyms as well :awesome:

I wouldn't mind doing a PO water gym myself though I would much prefer to be able to do a doubles water gym

Check out Advance Wars Dual Strike, a few years old but it's an excellent turn based strategy game. I need to buy a new copy of it actually :holmes:

I'm definitely up for participating in the PO gyms. I've got dragon already obviously, but if there's any types which don't get taken up I'd be happy to make teams for the extras.

That was one of the first games I bought for my original DS  IIRC I've got 200/300 medals, all the COs to max level, bought all the maps etc, but then it is an 8 year old game
The Advance Wars game after that (Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict) was pretty good I thought, but if you decide to play it, make sure it's the American Days of Ruin version, the script is much better

For the PO gyms I think we should have maybe a two week period where people who want to be a gym leader for each type post their name, type of gym, Pokemon to use w/ wildcard and so on. If it turns out that we don't have 17 people who want a PO gym, then we can have gym leaders of multiple types.

You could have both if you like it'd probably be easier keeping the single and double battles to each gym leader tbh.

I wasn't a fan of Dark Conflict myself, at least not compared to Dual Strike which is probably my favourite DS game after HGSS.

Yeah that's not a bad idea [= Think I've got my new Dragon team sorted for the BW2 metagame. There's some novelty to having a mono-dragon team with entry hazards =P

Im a big fan of the advance wars games but reeeally didnt like dark conflict. Yes it was an improvement in terms of gameplay. But I found the change in tone and storyline to be rather dull and cliched so had to force myself to complete it.:erm: What I liked about these games were their cartoony fun side which made it unique for a strategy game. There are lots of others with a serious tone and dark setting.:sadnod:

Trying to set up the fighting team I made a long long time ago on my ds in po.. all these numbers everywhere.:hmmmm:

Well I personally rather doubles as I suck balls at singles  but I don't mind doing both if it's easier though I would try to make challengers battle me in doubles
