Nursing at Kingston
Hi I'm hoping to study Nursing at Kingston Sept 2012, just wondered if there was anyone here who is already studying Nursing there or have just finished that could tell me how you're finding/found the course? is it very demanding? what is the lecture timetable like?
Or is there anyone else who is also hoping to study Nursing at Kingston 2012?
Thanks

Re: Nursing at KingstonHi(Original post by coline)
Hi Michelle! Kingston is part of my four uni choices for sept 2012, did you choose other uni as well? What branch of nursing do you want to specialise in?
nope Kingston is going to be my only choice, I've got 2 young daughters so don't want to be travelling too far for uni, where else are you applying to? I'm going for Adults Nursing what about you? Good luck

Hi guys, Im starting in sept 11 doing adult nursing. We wont get our timetables till the first day
. I have been told its gonna be rather intense to start with till you get into things and to read as much as you can ( you will get sent a reading list)
Im so excited about starting, like a kid at christmas lol.
I dont really have any other info at the moment but will try and answer any questions you have.

Re: Nursing at KingstonI want to do mental health nursing as well. I am also applying to kingston uni as well as middlesex, greenwich, west london and herfordshire. good luck(Original post by coline)
Hi dear,
The area of Kingston is beautiful, you're lucky to live close to this uni! I live in Bayswater so I applied for King's College, Greenwich, City and Kingston. My favourite choices are King's and Kingston, I chose Mental Health nursing. I am currently undertaking an Access Course with the Distance Learning Centre so I hope I'll get enough good grades to get there!
Good luck to you

Re: Nursing at Kingston
Can't help you much - but if you're doing Nursing and have applied for accommodation, you're most likely going to be at Kingston Bridge House.
Its specific to nursing students.
And I got a place there because they ran out of halls in the main ones I applied for.
So a lot of the students are Nurses, and when we hang out and stuff, they told me like a lot of the work they do is, not hard, but very long.
The lectures are apparently long - and I think you get given placements and stuff.
Hope this was helpful-ish xD -
Re: Nursing at Kingston
His guys. Just wanted to ask those who have gone for the interview at Kingston for adult nursing 2012. How was the numeracy, literacy test and the interview? Kingston is my first choice but I am still waiting and hopeful to get an interview.
