    1. What's your name?

Schmokie Dragon/Azrayel - RL name is for RL, online name is for online

    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for?

    I like filling out questionnaires.

    3. How old are you?

    23

    4. What's your gender?

    Female.

    5. What's your sexual orientation?

    Anthrosexual.

    6. How long have you known your orientation?

    4 years.

    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes?

Maybe. I'm in an open relationship (which some might say is 'stereotypical' for anthros) and I'm also into kink. I don't present in any particular style -I don't look femme, I don't look butch, I don't look alt, etc - but I do prefer alt/gothic/cyber/industrial/hippy fashions. I'm also vegan and a bit of a hippy. I have a lot of companion animals. I'm not sure what sort of stereotypes exist for anthros, to be honest. We're not really on the social radar yet.

    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia?

Some indirect homo-phobia and bi-phobia, and some direct bi-phobia (both within and outside of LGBT). A lot of people (especially on here) find my sexual orientation very strange, and I've had some very direct and very aggressive 'hate messages' from people telling me I don't exist, I'm ****ed up or I am a pretentious idiot who should go shoot herself and do the world a favour. Wahey!

    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react?

I am out to everyone, with a tiny number of exceptions (mostly older family members who would find the whole thing too bizarre for words). Loads of people don't know, but that's just because I don't tend to include my orientation in introductions.

    10. Do you know many LGBT people?

    Yes. A lot.

    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them?

I was LGBT Officer for YUSU (University of York Students' Union) for a year, and I was also on the executive committee for LGBT Social (YUSU's social society aimed at LGBT people and their friends). I was also LGBT Rep. for my college (Langwith) for two years while at York. I really enjoyed my time and although the ride wasn't always smooth, I think the work we did was very valuable and I would honestly recommend people get involved if they go to York.

    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they?

Too many to count. I've been to a ton and I've organised a ton. Everything from film nights and meet-and-greets, to club trips, late-night city trips (such as going to Canal Street) and major campus social events. We also organised loads of more serious events, such as debates, talks and open-meetings.

    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically?

    Yes.

    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long?

Yes. I've been with my male partner for over three years.

    15. What do you look for in a partner?

Chemistry, compassion and charisma. Trust, affection, intelligence and curiosity. Humour and maturity. Looks are secondary, and gender isn't a factor.

    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad?

Yes. Limited, but enjoyable. Hoping for more!

    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad?

My romatic partners have all been male. I've not had sexual contact with anyone outside of the 'traditional' cis-gender binary. Which for some silly reason makes me a little sad. I don't feel like a proper anthro when I've spent most of my adult life having sex with cis-gendered men. Can't control who you fall for, I suppose.

    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere?

I don't anymore. Too busy working and being boring. I used to go to LGBT nights in York every week, and I've been to LGBT clubs in Leeds and Manchester, as well as some LGBT bars in London. I can heartily recommend Canal Street for a good night out, but it is very 'gay' and some people might prefer something less stereotypical.

    19. Name some fit famous people.

Oh jeez. Trent Reznor, Daniel Craig (he's sexy-ugly), Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, Juno Temple, Kiera Knightly, John Cameron Mitchell (as Hedwig), Summer Glau, Michelle Rodriguez, Karen Gillan, the tom-boy from Brown Eyed Girls, Patrick Stewart (even if he is getting old), Wilem Dafoe (ditto). I don't keep an eye on celebrity culture so unless they've been in a film or are a musician, chances are I won't have seen them.

    1. What's your name?
    Jamie.
    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for?
Not really - maybe a little advice here and there.
    3. How old are you?
    18.
    4. What's your gender?
    Agendered (trans-masculine).
    5. What's your sexual orientation?
    Bisexual.
    6. How long have you known your orientation?
I've known my orientation since I was 5, and began experiencing gender dysphoria at age 10.
    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes?
Not in the slightest. But, I can be a bit camp sometimes, if that counts?
    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia?
The parental side of my family have said some particularly hurtful things about my being transgendered but I have never been discriminated against for either my orientation or gender.
    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react?
I've been out as bisexual since I was 12-13 and I've been progressively coming out as trans since October of last year. There are still some of my friends who don't know.
    10. Do you know many LGBT people?
Plenty. I dated a fellow trans man before he or I came out and we're still good friends, and a few of my friends are gay, lesbian or bisexual but I only really do the whole LGBT thing online rather than IRL. Most of my friends are cisgendered and straight.
    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them?
I'm planning to join the LGBT soc at Bradford, and that'll be my first foray into that.
    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they?
I went to a QYN meet once in London but I don't plan to again.
    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically?
To an extent. LGBT rights, emphasis on the T, effect me personally, so I suppose they do.
    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long?
I'm not in a relationship but I'm interested in another trans man at the moment and don't intend to be in a relationship until I know that has no chance of happening.
    15. What do you look for in a partner?
Someone tolerant of my body dysphoria and someone who is tolerant of my tendency to be an ass. A nice face, a good sense of humour, and a great taste in music is all favourable.
    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad?
Plenty of sexual experience with men, some of it good, some of it bad. Never as enjoyable as I wanted it to be due to my supressed gender dysphoria.
    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad?
One sexual experience with a woman when I was 14, and my only one as of yet and likely ever.
    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere?
Never been to a club or bar, let alone an LGB-inclusive one.
    19. Name some fit famous people.
Joel Zimmerman, Jon Gooch, Sonny Moore, Richard Madden, Christina Hendricks, Olivia Wilde, Ellen Paige, Emilia Clarke.
    20. Show us your picture?
    I'd rather not.

Bored and just came across this, so I've filled it out.

    Questionnaire1. What's your name?
    TheCrackInTime

    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for?
Nope. I just happened upon it whilst browsing the forum.

    3. How old are you?
    19

    4. What's your gender?
    Male

    5. What's your sexual orientation?
    Bisexual

    6. How long have you known your orientation?
I've known that I'm bisexual for around 2/3 years.

    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes?
    I don't think so, no.

    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia?
Not directed at myself, but I've heard people making homophobic comments before.

    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react?
I haven't come out, but that's more because I've never really felt the need to, rather than any desire to keep my sexuality a secret. If my Mum/Sister/Friends/ect asked, then I'd tell them.

    10. Do you know many LGBT people?
A friend of mine is gay and I suspect another may be bi, but that's it.

    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them?
    Nope.

    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they?
I've been out in town while there was a pride event on, but it was more a "I was there and the event was happening" than a "I was there because the event was happening".

    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically?
Nope. I'm quite liberal anyway (both socially and economically), but that's not influenced by anything other than my own sense of morality.

    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long?
    Not at the moment. :emo:

    15. What do you look for in a partner?
It's hard to put my finger on it, but someone who makes me smile. Not just because I find them funny, but because they're sweet, smart, caring and can cheer me up just by being there.

16a. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender?

    16.b Good or bad?
    N/A

17a. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender?
    Yes.

    17b. Good or bad?

    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere?
    Nope.

    19. Name some fit famous people.
Karen Gillan, Russell Tovey, Rupert Penry-Jones

    1. What's your name? Joe
    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for? Not really, just to chat with fellow gay/bi people cos I only know one in real life.
    3. How old are you? 16, 17 next Wednesday
    4. What's your gender? Male.
    5. What's your sexual orientation? Bisexual, possibly gay. Based on the fact I hate all girls at the moment.
    6. How long have you known your orientation? About five years, but only recently considered that I might be completely gay.
    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes? Um, a bit. I can't play any sports, can't throw, and am probably a bit girly. I don't act camp, though.
    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia? No, since so nobody really knows I'm bi (I hope).
    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react? I've only come out to three close friends and my family. Coming out to my friends was quite liberating and they were completely fine with it; one of them told me she was bi too. Coming out to my family was hideous, though; they were fine but it felt wrong, I wasn't ready. We've hardly mentioned it since.
    10. Do you know many LGBT people? One of my best friends, a girl, is bi. So was a girl in my school last year, and my nan's male cousin is gay. That's about it.
    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them? No, but I'll join an LGBT group at uni.
    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they? No.
    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically? I do relate more to issues concerning LGBT stuff, for example gay adoption. Partly because we have to; no straight people will ever get involved.
    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long? No.
    15. What do you look for in a partner? Just somebody I'll get along with, really, ideally somebody clever or witty.
    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad? No.
    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad?No.
    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere? No, but I plan to once I turn 18.
    19. Name some fit famous people. Daniel Craig, Keira Knightley, Liam and Niall from One Direction, can't think of any more really fit ones off the top of my head.
    20. Show us your picture? Haha, show me yours.

    1. What's your name? Rachel.
    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for? Uh, because gay people interest me?
    3. How old are you? Sixteen.
    4. What's your gender? Female.
    5. What's your sexual orientation? Bisexual, but emotionally I only like men (with a couple of exceptions).
    6. How long have you known your orientation? Pretty much my whole life, although with a lot of confusion/uncertianty. I change my mind a lot lol.
    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes? I don't really know what the bisexual stereotype is...
    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia? Not directly, but I have seen it towards other people.
    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react? No. I have actually come out twice, both times being very drunk, but afterwards nobody really commented on it, so maybe they didn't think I was serious haha. I sort of make hints like, "She's so hot" or "I have a huge crush on her". Hmm.
    10. Do you know many LGBT people? I've had a few bisexual friends, but I went to a really narrow-minded school so nobody was really 'out'.
    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them? No.
    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they? No. I might go to my town's Pride this year though.
    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically? I'm really really against homophobia, and I'll say if I think someone's got retarded opinions. But I don't really care about politics too much anyway.
    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long? No.
    15. What do you look for in a partner? Physically attractive, a nice person, and has similar interests to me. Especially music-wise.
    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad? Yes, a while back, kind of average. We were just experimenting, it wasn't anything real.
    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad? Same as above.
    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere? No. I'm a bit young.
    19. Name some fit famous people. James Franco, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson, Frank Iero, Erika Toda. Nom.
    20. Show us your picture? No. Sorry

    4. What's your gender?

Nothing more than the odd name calling

    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react?

    10. Do you know many LGBT people?
    Not too many really.

    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them?

    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad?

    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere?

    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad? Yes I have, and it's mostly if not completely been good.
    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad? Yes and it's been partly good, partly the opposite.

    4. What's your gender? Female
    5. What's your sexual orientation? Bisexual
    6. How long have you known your orientation? About a year. It's obvious in hindsight, but I hadn't felt the need to consider my sexuality until then.
    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes? Nah, but I don't really know any bisexual stereotypes..
    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia? Not personally. I've heard plenty directed at others though.
    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react? Not yet. I plan to at some point soon. I can't see it being a problem as I am in a pretty socially liberal household. I'm just reserved about these things so I haven't yet.
    10. Do you know many LGBT people? Quite a lot, mostly since going to University.
    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them? I wasn't really considering my sexuality during freshers so I didn't join the LGBT soc. I'm not sure if I would now, a lot of it seems centered on going on socials which isn't really me.
    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they? No. I would love to go to Pride at some point though.
    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically? Quite a lot, I would never vote for anyone that wasn't LGBT friendly. Luckily the political party I support is mostly good for this.

    15. What do you look for in a partner? I'm a reserved person, so someone interested in knowing the 'real' me. (cheesy, ha) A good sense of humour and it would probably be easier for them they had similiar political beliefs (I like to rant!) but I'm open to otherwise!

    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad? All the way, damn its goood! besides this one time 6 months ago where i burned my foot on a radiator....
    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Only been to straight clubs so far!

    20. Show us your picture? Naaaaah
    Hi there

Not sure if we're actually allowed to chat here or if it's just for questionnaires? So sorry if I shouldn't be

You were out to your school before your parents? How did you manage that then? I was completely ready to come out to everyone except my parents, and I didn't feel comfortable coming out to my school before my parents because I was afraid that they'd find out from someone else

I had similar feelings (not so much that I was worried my parents would hear from someone else, more that I knew my parents would be a bit offended if I told others before them, and there wasn't any chance of it going bad, just awkward to come out with), but I think it depends a lot on how well your parents know your friends, and also on whether you planned to be out to everyone bar family, or just out to a few friends you can trust not to tell others.

Well I think you're right it depends on person to person. Mind you I was lucky because I have family members that go to my school (and one is in my year) who haven't told my parents. If my parents do find out, I don't think it will be a very pretty scene afterwards . Then again, my parents are fairly culturally conservative and come from big Indian families so perhaps it's just me.

Well when I'm staying round my friends [Which I do ALOT], Usually round my friends near Southgate / Finchley although I also have friends in Leyton, Clapton and Edmonton which I visit frequently So a bit spaced out.
My actual home address is Hertfordshire, but I'm literally so close to the M25, it's stupid for me to say I live there and then have to explain each time how it's so near London

I'm heading to Sheffield Hallam Uni! Going to study Aerospace Technology.

    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for? To make new friends
    3. How old are you? 20
    4. What's your gender? Female
    5. What's your sexual orientation? I has a gay
    6. How long have you known your orientation? 3 Years
    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes? I don’t think you can tell just by looking at me, however, I love musical theatre; Glee is my favourite TV show (I think I fit the stereotypes of a gay male )
    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia? Thankfully I haven’t really. There was a lot of drama when I first came out, I have recently learnt this was to do with the girl I was in a relationship with, rather than who I am. (Long story)
    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react? I’m out to the majority of family and friends, I think my grandparents and a few aunts and uncles are the only ones who don’t know. I’ve only recently realized I shouldn’t care what people think and I am being a lot more open than I was like 4 years ago (yay for personal development). Most people couldnt believe it when I told them, its really not obvious.
    10. Do you know many LGBT people? A few of my friends.
    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them? No But its something I really want to get involved in.
    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they? Pride was yesterday, I had to work
    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically? I try and stay out of politics, I think they’re all liars.
    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long? Newly Single. I was in a very negative relationship for 3 years of my life. Im ready for something new and hopefully drama-free
    15. What do you look for in a partner? Someone who can make me smile, who will help me in mundane day to day chores, a girl who respects herself and doesn’t take life too seriously.

Not to mention be unbelievably gorgeous (Brown Hair/Brown Eyes is a plus)

    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad? Only with one girl. Enjoyed the act, don’t so much care for the person any more.
    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad? Yep, would rather not talk about it! The image still shakes me to the core.
    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere? I’m dying to go to a gay bar!
    19. Name some fit famous people. Mila Kunis, please marry me! The woman is a goddess! Pink, Olivia Wilde, Naya Rivera, Katy Perry, Tracey Ryerson, Lisa Origliasso… I could go on all day!
    20. Show us your picture? Don’t want to scare anyone away :P

oooh, questionnaire. These things are what the internet is made for.

    1. What's your name? Roger.

    2. Is there anything in particular you've come to the TSRLGBTS for? Written communication. It's a forum!

    3. How old are you? 21.

    4. What's your gender? Genderqueer. Male-assigned at birth because of my genitals, but I really do not identify with what I perceive to be "male" culture.

    5. What's your sexual orientation? Gay and polyamorous.

    6. How long have you known your orientation? I've only thought of myself as gay for a year or so. I used to identify as bisexual from my early teenage years through to the age of twenty, but it never felt right because even though I have been attracted to the opposite sex, there has never been a sexual component to the attraction. I didn't understand that when I was younger, but I get more neurotic and self-analytical as I grow older, and figured it out a while ago after putting some actual thought into it.

    7. Do you feel like you fit any orientation-related stereotypes? I love Lady Gaga and Torchwood, if that counts.

    8. Have you experienced any homo- or transphobia? Yes, but usually from people who can hide behind the safety of a computer screen. Nothing dismal in real life apart from some gender-based bullying in high school for being 'male' and having long hair.

    9. Are you out? For how long, or are you planning to? If you are, how did people react? I'm out to anyone who asks, or who can read the symbols I wear. Or who deduces it from my publicised same-sex crushes. I am not a private person and do not care who knows what about me.

    10. Do you know many LGBT people? Some, and I love them all.

    11. Have you been involved in any LGBT organisations or societies? What did you think of them? Not yet. I'll probably join in the forthcoming academic year.

    12. Have you been to any LGBT events? How were they? I went to an open lecture last year that was co-arranged by my university's feminist and LGBT societies (a match made in 'heaven'). It was fun, especially because I so rarely encounter discussions about gender and sexuality outside of the internet.

    13. Do LGBT considerations influence you politically? Of course. How could they not when it is still such a big topic? The issue of asylum is particularly important. I find it appalling that the UK government routinely rejects asylum to refugees from countries where the only "choice" is between imprisonment/execution and sexual/gender repression. I'm a relentless feminist, too, and I consider that to be inherently related to LGBT politics, so I see everything from a queer-feminist perspective.

    14. Are you in a relationship? If so, for how long? No.

    15. What do you look for in a partner? Intrigue. A memorable pair of (non-leather) boots and a good posture. I like people who are conscientious, critical-minded, articulate and confident, and who will not get indignant and take it personally when I challenge their opinions or actions.

    16. Have you had any sexual experiences with the same gender? Good or bad? No.

    17. Have you had any sexual experiences with another gender? Good or bad? No.

    18. Do you go out on the 'scene' (LGB clubs and bars) much? Can you recommend anywhere? I don't like clubs and don't go to bars unless I'm with someone. Had fun watching some dismal dancing in Edinburgh's pink triangle last year.

    19. Name some fit famous people. Stephen Moyer is always hot in True Blood. I also like James Marsters (preferably with bleached hair), Patrick Wolf, Benedict Cumberbatch, Aidan Turner, Michael Socha, John Simm, Milo Ventimiglia, David Tennant, Jean-Pierre Léaud...too many!

    20. Show us your picture? OK. I don't have any interesting photos, unfortunately.
