Hi,

My Partner is 37 years old. She is on JSA and wants to work part time, there may be a job coming up in my work - though I think she can work up to 15 hours per week before deductions will take place from her benefits.

Regards,

William

That moron who said stop scrounging off the state is probably a foreign ****er so shut your ****ing mouth

You are racist. The poster in question is correct. No able bodied person who lives in our great country should be claiming (aka scrounging) benefits

It's not just you paying in, we are entitled to JSA because our parents paid in you ignorant snob. I would love to see you unemployed, you would soon change your tune.

Yes. Our parents paid in if they were to become unemployed. Not for their little scrounger children to scrounge

How is it scrounging? What are you supposed to do if the bull****-arse companies won't employ you despite a willingness to perform the role? You are clearly a special type of moron.

You clearly aren't making an effort. My family business has hired many school leavers this month alone up and down the land.

Without going back on my job application history since 2007 and knowing my circumstances you are in no position to make that judgement. Do you honestly think I like wasting year after year stuck in my childhood bedroom approaching 30 you dimwit? There are so many obstacles to getting just a basic job these days it is unreal. Have a look at some of my threads for examples of the hoops you have to jump through.

How does it how that I a 16 year old manages 6 McDonalds and yet you scrounge from the government you failure. There is people way younger than you who are leaving school with no qualification and yet are getting jobs.

I'd love for the dole club to withdraw your dole money. That way. It'll force you into work.
Narrow minded what if you need to fit in a family...?
I also work less than 16 hours a week (1 shift of 5/6 hrs, sometimes 2 shifts if someone can't do theirs)
I'm also thinking of signing on for Job Seekers (only to help me find full time job. not for the money) but I'm worried that they will reject me because i'm working.

I did years ago when I worked only 10 hours a week on a poor wage. But they still rejected me. B******s.

if i'm unsuccessful in getting JSA dos have to go and sign on still

You won't get proper answers here. Find your nearest citizens advice office and ask there. You'll get a professional who knows the stuff and can ask all the questions there. It's totally free, you may just have to wait for a while.

It won't do anything if they reject you and they shouldn't unless you work 16 or more hours and have a lot of savings. Won't hurt to try
Some people like me are ill with cancer and are trying to get back to full time work but are told by there hosptail to only work part time . Because we are not well enough to work full time . So just shut up . You don't know what your talking about most people would love to get back to full time work it's not our fault we are ill
People like you are pathetic, you have no idea what it is like constantly looking for work (and if you do then shame on you) not everyone on benefits is lazy, and trying to to get what they can. I have worked for twenty years, and lost my job so get of your high horse, there are a lot of honest people on benefits through no fault of there own
People like you make me sick she is trying to work don't you get it its people like you that thing everyone on benefits is a scroungers not everyone I'm on 0 hours and got 5 kids really struggling at most so if up to you in would not get help and can get job any were get back to reality willya
You can work part-time and claim JSA as long as it’s for less than 16 hours a week. You still need to be actively seeking and available for more work, so make sure that you keep signing on and job-hunting if you want to get your JSA.

Any income that you earn over a small amount (£5 a week for a single person, £10 for a couple, up to £20 if you’re disabled, a carer or a lone parent) will be subtracted from your benefit. So if you’re single and earning £30 a week, you’ll have £25 deducted from your benefit.

But while you might not do much better financially from doing a few hours, it looks great on your CV that you’ve kept working, and increases your chances of finding more work.
Idiot.
you will also get your rent paid for you by benefits
Daryl you are a *******. Maybe you should stop ******* over kiddy porn and stop putting people in hardship down. They are after help not your opinions. I would love to slap your teeth out with a club, sorry just stating an opinion. Message me for my address, I can meet you after my 12 hour shift as a doctor.
Slender wankjob clearly doesn't get any action at home. When was the last time you got laid? Ummmm...... never. The fact you are on here debating with strangers clearly state you have too much time to yourself. I'm actually responding as one of the site owners. Get lost, go and die peacefully and have some big black cock rape your ass in front of your mum
WHy you got to be a tw** she was asking a question you are being reported
