I know that your offer has to become unconditional by August 31st (unless the university is prepared to wait). A priority remark may come in under six days, but it's plausible that it won't do.
Maybe you could write some blank cheques and give your teachers a few thresholds (UMS) which warrant a remark. You don't want to miss out because you're not in the UK!
