They should get The Who involved alongside some newer bands like the Arctic Monkeys.

He's awful. If it was the actual beatles maybe, but it's not, it's his dreadful stuff.

The who is a good suggestion!

As long as it's not someone **** like Take That
They should get Black Sabbath, they reunited recently or The Who

Reckon most bands (if any??) will be in the closing ceremony which is supposed to be celebrating the best of british music and is overseen by take that concert director - the one who did the tour with the big circus elephant

If McCartney is, they should get Ringo to play drums with him

    I think it's a bit... safe.
I mean, I'm certainly no Leona Lewis fan (don't DEGRADE me) but I actually liked her and Jimmy Page doing Whole Lotta Love and I have no idea why.
I feel as though it probably should be a mash up of British bands and songs.
Paul McCartney is a good choice, ALTHOUGH it's kinda like going to an Indian restaurant and ordering a korma.

They were probably going to have to go for Paul - we had the Beatles, arguably one of the most influential and famous bands of all time, so it seems logical to get one of the surviving ones to do it, and I'll bet Ringo wouldn't...

The Who would be so so so much more awesome though (as you can probably tell one of my favorite bands of all time! )...

I think Spinal Tap would be a good idea too...

Personally, don't like anything he has been involved with, I don't like his voice or the way he writes music, or the music he writes.

I think getting a mix of bands/artists from every genre would have been better cause then there would be something for everyone. If they had the right people working on it then they could have done an absolutely amazing arrangement of a song incorporating styles of music from everywhere
