I guess so, maybe its just that I watched it after I had read the first couple hundred chapters, but it didn't really seem to "fit" the manga in the way I had imagined, especially with some of the character voices
The manga is far superior compared to the anime. I rarely watch the anime, the old drawings for the first few hundred episodes were brilliant. Now looking back over the past 200 episodes it just seems to be getting worse and worse. Heck even one recent episode they shown Shanks with both arms, I'm not even kidding.

I'm up to date with One Piece now... it's still interesting, and I'm amazed that Oda has managed to keep up the quality for so long. I don't want it to end until it brings the story to its conclusion. OP has kept fresh by maintaining several secrets and background machinations. There are still plenty of mysteries and backroom plotters to be uncovered, and new lands to explore. I hope the Straw Hats reach them eventually.

Honestly, the way One Piece has developed across 500+ eps is fantastic, who'd have thought it would not only maintain its character, but get better?

Which is why I was asking people what they thought of the latest chapter....although that was almost two months ago! Personally, I think the new arc is starting off great, I think we'll finally be introduced to Vegapunk and many of his powerful inventions, which will give the strawhats a run for their money

I wonder why in Japan is currently episode 538 on air while the Europeans are still on 400. What is matter with them? Is there not a country here in Europe which want to translate new episodes of One Piece? What is the exactly reason why it's stopping at the moment?
Will it be go on in the future or the episodes will stand still by 400 all the time?

    Give me an answer, please!

bleach and naruto are clearly better than one piece but for some reason i enjoy one piece more on the whole, it just seems more fun and upbeat even though it has great action like the cp9 arc

I luuurrrv One Piece. Favourite scene has to be either in the Arlong arc where Luffy takes off his hat and puts it on Nami, or, when Luffy hit the celestial dragon.

For pure emotion it had to be both when they were on Sabody Archipelago and they all got split up!

Gotta love it so much. Episode 539 out today! Woop woop!

I've semi-dropped Naruto! I hattteee the fillers. I dno when to start again Bleach I perm dropped after he defeated Aizen, coz he lost all his powers so I cba watching that lol.

OP and Fairy Tail are the only two animes I love and have never done anything bad! I remember I managed to catch up on OP during a summer holiday a couple of years ago and since then I've been watching it weekly!

off topic question, but who's your favourite character in Naruto?

My favourite arc is marine ford. It was an epic battle there, the best in one piece yet. I'm very impressive about whitebeard's strength in this one. His devil fruit was amazing!! Marco's one is it too, he has one of the interesting devil fruit powers in my opinion. After all whitebeard's crew and alliance was very strong. But they failed: The power of marine was too much. Poor Ruffy. He has no chance in this battle, especially against the admirals.

I wouldn't say I hate this character, but he is one of many characters in One Piece who is ridiculous. I don't like chopper.
