I've literally only just started but I've found it fascinating the amount of drugs and prescriptions we go through, especially for such a small store. It's all so interesting!

I'm starting my healthcare training in a week or two so I'll be allowed to sell OTC medicines mostly unsupervised (but for some things we still have to refer to the RP) and then hopefully I'm going to do dispenser training.

I work for Boots and we have a shortage of trained dispensers and healthcare advisors atm.

It's crazy isn't it. I work for an independant pharmacy and we usually dispense 2000 items in an average week.

What training are you doing?

Ooh you guys are so lucky, wish I could do something like that, I don't know where to get the motivation to find somewhere like that and not constantly procrastinate when finding a placement!:/
