Re: Deus Ex: Human RevolutionI am really annoyed that it went so cheap so quick, it has really put me off buying any games within their first two weeks now. I was really looking forward to the winter games flood as well(Original post by Illusionary)
I'm still surprised at how quickly it dropped! But yeah, that seems expensive for the DLC, especially with that comparison.

Re: Deus Ex: Human RevolutionThe soundtrack is truly amazing. Michael McCann did Splinter Cell: Double Agent's soundtrack as well if you're interested, it's as least as good as DE: HRs!(Original post by TM94)
Replaying this currently and the moment you enter Jensen's apartment is one of the most engrossing moments I have ever seen in video games.
The incredible soundtrack...
The e-mails and painkillers exposing Jensen's mental state and the broken mirror.
Breathtaking.
My favourite track from DE is probably this, which plays whenSpoiler:Showyou're fighting against Lt. Cmdr Feodorova in Picus and talking with Eliza for the first time.
This guy really needs to be given more game soundtracks to do. -
Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
The Missing Link got its US release today... I assume that we'll get it tomorrow!
A fairly decent 8.0 from IGN http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/121/1210011p1.html
I'll have a look for other reviews later... -
Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
*sigh* Can't believe it's been two months since this thread had life.
Ah, memories...
Anyway, it's past 4am and I'm bored and want to fix my body clock. I watched the prison breakout scene of Watchmen it made me think of Batman and Deus Ex. I don't have Arkham City and waiting for Arkham Asylum to download off Steam would take too long.
So it's about time I picked up The Foxiest of the Hounds, The Take and Doctorate achievements.
Edit: Ok forget that, I just wanna play it. Maybe I'll just go for the first of said achievements...Last edited by Mo-Amin; 13-12-2011 at 05:28. -
Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Another major bump...
Scott Derrickson, the director of The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), The Exorcism of Emily Rose and more recently, Sinister, is due to direct the adaptation.

Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Some games have wonderful storylines that deserve an attempt. If they fail as films, then it doesn't detract the enjoyment of the game one bit. But if they keep trying, eventually they'll get it right, and it will be the most amazing thing we've ever seen. Maybe they'll even get this one right.
We've just been disenchanted by the failures.

There is always hope.
Only played a bit of it. Theres something about the graphics that seem odd to me...the HDness of it.
Ive not used my xbox in a long long while so maybe its not set up with my tv right.
Tempting, but with Arkham City here in two days and then loads more shortly after, I think I'll hold off for now.
Still no Pacifist, though I'm got *every* other trophy now...
No matter, time for Batman I think
