Not seen a thread like this and there are many decent theme parks in the world so which rides are your favourite?

Personally I like Colossus at Thorpe park and Air and Alton Towers

I've only ever been on the Corkscrew and the Voodoo at Flamingo Land, both brilliant. I wanted to go on the Mumbo Jumbo and Velocity too, but didn't have time/friends didn't want to .

My favourite ride is probably Nemesis at Alton Towers.
From what I can remember when I was younger, The Bullet at Flamingo land was pretty scary, I think they removed it though...?

Stealth at Thorpe Park by far!

Oblivion at Alton Towers. No matter how many times I go on it, once it's stopped and overlooking the drop I freak out.

Oblivion is crazy, no matter how many times I sit on it. Even seeing it on Youtube sets my heart racing.

The most terrifying roller coaster has got to be an old one that was at Rhyl it was wooden. However the bars came lose on you and every time you went down a drop you would almost fall out. Almost killed me that did it got condemned the next week.

Favorite would have to be Air at Alton Towers that is so much fun .

The tea cup ride is without a doubt the scariest ride. All those cups hurtling around in seemingly random directions and at high speeds. It's a miracle they don't crash into each other...

Exact same thing happend to me. When I tell the story people interupt saying "it just seems like ages" until I tell them about the guy on the megaphone letting us know about a few 'technical difficulties with the brakes'

I've only been to Drayton manor and Alton towers but the only ride that scares me every frigging time is oblivion. Air and Nemesis are the most fun though, I looove the pink water!

When I went to America I went to Six Flags Magic mountain and the Goliath was pretty scary!

ahhhh I need to go to more theme parks! I've only been to Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley (back in the day).
Velocity, Corkscrew and Kumali are all really good though.

but I went on one of those "pendulum" type rides yesterday, that basically swings from side to side going up really high - forgot how scary they were and how weird it was being up that high! Rides terrify me yet I can never resist going on them.

Stealth at Thorpe Park is amaaaaaazing.
I've always liked Air at Alton Towers as well, although Oblivion is scarier.
