you braved oblivion but not nemesis? wow :L honestly oblivion is so much scarier! nemesis is very very smooth you dont really notice going upside down at all! and its a great ride
haha! I guess I knew that Oblivion was only short, and it was the first ride we went on that day... I have to say when I first got on i was thinking "Am I seriously doing this?" but it's an amazing ride!

I always went to AT and was really excited to go to Forbidden Valley, then I saw the rivers of blood... lol I was terrified! and saw people being scared, or something... I was only little!

I like the smoothness of the B&M rides and the sound they make going round the track!

Where's the best place to sit if you go on Nemmy?

as far back as you can get! if you sit at the front it goes slower and at the back is faster but wherever and its awsome.

whenever it comes to turns on rollorcoasters i always press my head really hard against one side, just to stop it banging around because ive lost many earings and gained many headaches from doing this :L

Also if you dont want a headache from banging your head - i dont recommend rita :L that is not pleasant and its a pretty boring ride :L

Formula Rossa ride in Ferrari World (Abu Dhabi)

Officially the fastest rollercoaster in the world, it's supposed to emulate the sensations of a F1 car.

This is what happened when Ferrari's current formula 1 drivers went on the ride

I've been on it, it was too much for me I don't think I'll go again.
That video is such a laugh. Fernando temporarily turns into Jeremy Clarkson on the launch.
My dad and brother recently had a trip to the Emirates and I dared my brother to try this if he got the chance to go. They stayed in Dubai rather than Abu Dhabi and never went. If I ever went I'd be telling myself 'I will do it' and then would pull out at the last minute... Gahahaa...

Thank you I'll try it when i go soon! I think the reason I wasn't *as* scared on Oblivion is because i'm not too bad with heights, even then it's still scary! but so much fun!

I think we'll only go on Rita if the queues aren't horrendous, same with Pinball Whizzer, although I do kinda want to go on that one!

I think Detonator in Thorpe Park is really underrated in terms of how frightening it is. It scares the hell out of me

It's like stealth, but WAYYYY bigger. And faster!

Scariest and best coaster I have ever been on is the Kissimmee SkyCoaster in Florida. 300 feet. Just incredible to look at, and even more so to be on top of...

Sorry the video was recorded with a calculator. And it's WAYYYY higher than it looks...

    Depends what you want.

The front and back seem to feel faster. The front is best if you want the thrill of seeing where you are going, and the air on your face.

If you think you will be scared, or want to ease yourself in, I suggest going in the middle on the right hand side where the big swoops are on your inside

Especially at the back I find this to be true. My first ride on the Manta coaster at SeaWorld took me to the back on the train and I honestly felt it on the ride's diving loop, so much so that it literally took my breath out of my lungs.

    The Caterpillar train!!!!

    Terrifying stuff.

Or... the Black Mamba at Phantasialand, since I haven't been to many big theme parks, and when I did I was too short to go on the good rides at the time. Curse my short genes.

Freakout - A pendulum ride. First time I went on it, I thrown up everywhere..It was pretty scary!!
My friends persuaded me to do it again a few months later, so I did, and it was great the second time. But it still haunts me, it haunts me deep

    Here's the wonderful video -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uc-ujFECObk

My favourite ride is probably Air at Alton Towers. It used to be Nemesis, but I've been twice recently, and both times preferred Air. It's just so different. As for scare factor, I never normally get scared of rides, but Oblivion always gets me, because of the bit that it waits at the top. Great ride!

I want to go to Thorpe Park SO much. Flamingo Land has more hardcore rides than I expected as well, so I may have to go there at some point. I've been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach many times, which is good too.

Haha, I lurrrve all of it :P I've been on it so many times, we go to Thorpe Park every year, usually twice in the summer holidays because it's our local theme park, live about 30 mins from it :P I've been so many times, I guess I'm just immune to the "rush" and feeling of fear.

Yesss, ahh, I've been like 5 times!! I'm not even scared anymore, it's quite amazing from inside, there are about 7 rooms, each room, a set from each film, in chronological order. The first room you enter is a bathroom, like SAW I.

But, yes, the actors do get all touchy feely in there which I think is the most scary part, you just don't want to be touched in there. You should go..it's a good experience Haha
