    Thinking of applying to Aberystwyth
I am thinking of applying for the genetics course at Aberystwyth - mostly because the minimum grades are pretty low so if I don't do well in my A levels then i can still study genetics. So if anyone who studies genetics could tell me what it is like there then that'd be great, thanks

Just because the requirements are low it doesn't mean you can get in on the minimum.

Aber generally tends to be oversubscribed and if you haven't already applied it won't be easy to get a place through clearing.

My mate's doing genetics this coming september, ask me this again in 6 months and I'll give you a good response if no one gives you one on here

Have a look at the course, and rankings and attend an open day. This will give you a clear idea. Aberystwyth is a great place, but quite rural.
