Eh, might want to take some supplements for your brain there mate...

Creatine will not give you shiz if you don't work out, it just increases your max load and water retention, which is useless anyway.

Creatine allows you to work harder and hydrate your muscles; it won't add mass except in that it can help you work harder and thereby increase muscle mass. Also, you should spend less time in the gym and more time in KS3 English.

No. Among many reasons, the "muscle bloat" pulls in more nutrients to the muscle.

You will lose the water weight (maybe 5lbs worth), but not the muscle that came with it.

You've still not got it right. :lolwut:

You might need to try really really slow typing.

Well regardless, Creatine is virtually useless between 17-21, because your body produced absolutely ample amounts of the stuff.

    Strong broscience.

Why would age impact creatine development?

Anyways, there is only a certain amount of creatine your muscles can hold onto. Unless you are eating a ton of red meat, its unlikely that you are reaching that max. Supplementation will help you meet that max. Now with that said, the OP would be 10x better off eating red meat.

    Hardly.

Source - Jon Rudd, Head Coach of British Swimming’s World Class National Age Programme from 2004 onwards and Coach of the best Swimming club in the Country. I'll take his word over yours.

Creatine is produced naturally at high levels during the peak of maturity, increasing that with supplements will either only have marginal effect or none at all, whilst still providing the downsides of taking Creatine (namely, dependence and possible liver damage over long term usage).

Incidentally it is a supplement for the brain. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=17828627

You are talking so much ****. How the **** can a swimming coach tell when someone is producing more creatine than someone else? Jeebus you are a retard.

I have read and heard about that, maybe he should start consuming it by the kilo.

When somebody who is an expert in producing world class Athletes tells you when you mention that you are going to supplement your gym sessions with Creatine; 'At the stage of growth you are at now, it would be a waste of time to supplement with Creatine because your muscles are already sufficiently saturated due to your diet, age and work load'.

If the OP is at the prime of maturity (17-21), where the body produces more Creatine than normal, and has a high Meat-centric diet, then supplements will do him virtually no good, aside from water retention.

Are you seriously retarded? Do you honestly not know the difference between an appeal to authority and actual evidence? I realise that if you need this explained there is really no point because you will be too stupid to get it, but what would you do if another world class coach that you are not name-dropping said that creatine supplementation is a good idea? Would your just head explode, or would you try to find actual evidence either way, beyond just what someone said?

Having looked into it myself, the body does produce ENOUGH Creatine to supplement lean muscle gain sufficient for the sport that I do. (From my own research), whether that is then decent enough for specific mass gains is another argument all together.

Show some proof that it's higher in adolescence, or shut up.

Average natural creatine in children up to adolescence is between 0.2 mg/dl and 1.0 mg/dl.
Average natural creatine in adolescence is between roughly 0.8 mg/dl and 1.8 mg/dl

. As we get older, creatine production in the body decreases
