    at the end of the day its a place people have heard of and a place with a really good reputation.... I was told by my head of year who went to lse that lse and ucl place a lot more emphasis on research and look after their postgrads much more than their undergrads, I don't know if there's any truth in that though

    Let me tell you, as a postgrad at KCL, they treat you superbly.

    Well...I would like to say one thing...I belong to the family tht owns a publication house that ranks at the top in my country. What i have noticed is that all these newly formed universities which are about 20 yrs old, market a lot about their courses and pay us to publish good ranks for them so that they can get students and mint money. Also these unis appoint agents across the world to have more students internationally....As per my experience i believe that universities that market themselves less, are old in foundation and have a handful or no agents are the one's that are highly ranked and prestigious. I believe Kings College is amongst them with other UK unis like Oxford, Cambridge, LSB, LSE and UCL.
