    Out of interest, what store was this? I applied for one and had an interview nearly 2 weeks ago now but heard nothing yet.
    I didn't not interview for this position, they called and asked me for the job. I am not going to disclose the branch location.

    If it's not a stupid question, what does a job in stock management actually entail in full?

    Hey guys,

    I really want to work at John Lewis for my first job, like my brother used to. I am still 15 and will turn 16 in August but just got my National Insurance Number so I presume I can work. I keep looking at the jobs website but there's nothing. I really want to work in the IT department and love computers. At the moment, I am in Summer Holidays and am gonna go to Sixth form in September. I would like to start the job as soon as possible as a part time and keep it through sixth form. My brothers mate who works there says they are taking on staff, so whats the protocol. Do I get an application form and then what, an interview? How does it work. Any help appreciated.

    I applied for a Selling Assistant Christmas Temp job last week, closing date was 19th. I got invited to fill in a test about what you would do in circumstances like Customer Complaint, Customer received dammed goods etc. I then had an email the next day inviting me to an Assessment Centre. Now I'm 15, but am 16 at the end of October. The dates for the assessment were several at the end of Sept/Start of Oct or one on the 29th Oct (a few days after I am 16). It's really inconvenient to go to the one on the 29th, so I accepted one next week, but now I'm stressing out about going to the interview when I'm not 16 yet. I emailed the recruitment team but they're not in till Monday and that's when my assessment is .
    Can anyone help me?:confused::confused:
