Re: PC Gaming SocietyI myself have never managed to play fifa for long, but remember that many people buy such games to play against their mates (mostly on console), where story is irrelevant.(Original post by Jace Falco)
A football video game is the same thing happening in the same setting over and over and over. In different instances there might be slightly different bland, personality-free characters wearing slightly different costumes, but there's no story, the gameplay is rigid and predictable, there's no interesting decision-making. The only innovations that can be brought in with each new game are different characters to do the same things, and different graphics to make the same setting look slightly shinier. -

This is the PC Gaming Society. We all know how these things work by now: this thread exists for the discussion of the focus of the society, which in this case is PC gaming. So, get discussing!

What do we all think of this recently announced PC-exclusive Hard Reset?
It looks pretty interesting, but likely to be a 'wait for the price to go down' purchase from me. -
Re: PC Gaming SocietyNo, you'll just have to wait for the release of the release of the release date....(Original post by lollington-mccoy)

Re: PC Gaming Society
This seems likely a homely thread. Its pretty much racing all the way since my G25 arrived. I'm usually on TDU2, GTR or NFSHP.
As far as future releases go, its probably a tie between Batman Arkham City and Bioshock Infinite. I was sucked so deep into the prequels, I had to pinch myself. My arms are still sore. -
Re: PC Gaming Societyterraria on sale for 5 euros?(Original post by Tommyjw)
If anyone see's any indie multiplayer games, that look good, on sale on steam in any recent future, do tell me, maybe we can get a few people together on them? ;D given they are usually only a few quid. -

OMG, DEUS EX SOON.
I must get it for my birthday.
I MUST.
Ahhh, it's like my wet drea- wait.. wrong gender.
I'm going to have to wait a bit of Deus Ex. I'm going to be on holiday when it comes out. Hopefully I'll be able to download it on Steam before release so it's ready to go straight away when I get back. -
Re: PC Gaming Society
I started playing SpaceChem today. What an absolutely fantastic game it is - I can't recommend it enough.
I dare anyone to complete Sleepless on Sernimir IV and not involuntarily produce sexy juices. -

Re: PC Gaming SocietyDoes it make me a bad person if I downloaded the leaked beta? I don't care. It was the best game I've played since Alan Wake on 360. Took me back to the original, but with better graphics, hacking, and AI.(Original post by Kisamekick)
