Ended up withdrawing from Sussex. They were taking far to long to reply and I received a reply from my first choice months ago anyway.

edit: if you take medical you will have some lessons with the med school and learn more about the biomedicine side of neuroscience. whats your firm btw? i applied to southampton, sheffield, cardiff and royal holloway for biomed and biomed(neuroscience) but loved sussex so much i ended up firming it, even though id planned for it to be my insurance.
Thanks, I might try and switch if I end up at Sussex.
Manchester is my firm Absolutely fell in love with it when I visited. I got offers from Edinburgh, Leeds and Keele as well, all for Neuroscience except Keele which was English and Neuroscience.
Which did you put as your insurance choice? Was it for Neuroscience too, or Biomed?
    Maybe see you next year...

I went to an open day before I applied so I didn't pay much attention to the course details tbh but I loved the campus and there seems to be a lot of choice within the course. I was planning to attend the visit day last friday to find out more but didnt end up going

I'm glad someone else didn't take psychology as an a level too though! Where else did you apply?
I am pleased to hear that you loved the campus. That was what I was a bit weary about. I have heard mixed things about the campus so I hope I love it too. I was going to go to one of the earlier visit days but I wasn't able to make any of the dates so I am going to the one on the 21st April.

I have also recieved offers from University of Birmingham, Loughborough, East Anglia and Leicester. Which other unis have you applied to?

Am I right in thinking Sussex is a pretty small university? Anyone know around how many under grads there are?
I know the biology departments pretty small, something like 150 people

    Just curious (:

9275 undergraudates currently, so yes it's pretty small :/ However i think that's an advantage - hopefully it will mean more attention from academic staff, s well as a nicer community feeling

    Ah makes sense, cheers (:
Yeah I don't see it as being a bad thing, I left Southampton uni earlier this year & I just wanted an idea of how it compares

From what I can tell the campus looks brilliant- beautiful and relaxed with easy access to the city. I'm visiting next Friday, think this could very well be where I end up in September

I am! Law M100! I have already applied for accommodation. My options are (in this order): Swanborough, Lewes Court, Northfield and Stanmer Court.

    What about you?
