    House Spread and Averages.

This shows the range of results in each area and the House average. The pink section is MPs only, the blue is the whole House.

Interesting to see just how wide a specrum we cover. Also of interest is that the House as a whole (or at least those who posted results in time, 20 of whome were not MPs) is slightly Capitalistic, while the MPs who posted results are slightly communistic.

Let's contast this with the average results of UK 18-28:

The MPs in the House as a whole seem fairly similar to the UK 18-28 average. Slightly more Cosmopolitan, secular, anarchist, visionary and pacafist, but slightly less communistic and ecological.

    'Awards'

Here are the 'awards' for most extreme members in each category:

    Cosmopolitan: HarveyCanis (89%, Lib Dem)
    Nationalistic: Mr Inquisitive (52%, Conservative)
    Secular: paddy__power (97%, Labour)
    Fundementalist: jakemittle (35%, Conservative)
    Visionary: Geraldine (80%, Socialist)
    Reactionary: tehFrance (30%, Conservative)
    Anarchistic: Geraldine (79%, Socialist)
    Authoritarian: Mr Inquisitive (14%, Conservative)
    Communistic: badger-man (85%, Socialist)
    Capitalistic: Rhadamanthus (92%, Libertarian)
    Pacafistic: Stricof (93%, Socialist)
    Militaristic: Teaddict (79%, None)
    Ecological: Stricof (66%, Socialist)
    Anthropocentric: Aj12 & AlexInWonderland (both 76%, Conservative)

Here are awards for most extreme party average:

    Cosmopolitan: Lib Dems (49%)
    Nationalistic: UKIP (10%)
    Secular: Socialist (73%)
    Fundementalist: UKIP (-17%)
    Visionary: Socialist (59%)
    Reactionary: UKIP (-6%)
    Anarchistic: Socialist (49%)
    Authoritarian: UKIP (-6%)
    Communistic: Socialist (65%)
    Capitalistic: Libertarian (66%)
    Pacafistic: Socialist (45%)
    Militaristic: Conservatives (5%)
    Ecological: Socialist (13%)
    Anthropocentric: Libertarian (37%)

    Party Spread and Averages.

Here are the party range and average charts. Again, the top blue level shows all members while the pink lower level is MP only. The black line is the average and the spread is shown by the bar length and position.

    TSR Labour Party

    TSR Conservative Party

    TSR Libertarian Party

    TSR Socialist Party

    TSR Liberal Democrat Party

    TSR Centre Party

    TSR UKIP

    * No non-MPs gave results from TSR UKIP.

Lets look at all these party averages next to each other for clarity. Again, the top layer is the whole party, the second layer is MPs only.

The most striking thing here is just how extremely fundementalist UKIP are when compared with all of the other parties. They are also fairly nationalistic by comparison.

The Socialist party is also quite radical, as we might expect. As well as being much more Communistic (surprise surprise) they are also the most pacefist and secular. Their MPs are the most ecological, though they are beaten in the party wide race by the centre party, who have a huge gap between their membership and MPs in termy of Ecological issues.

The libertarian party is, again unsurprisingly, the most capitalistic, followed by the conservative party who are also the most militaristic.

    Categories

Two graphs on Categories. In the following graphs, the other category is any category with only one representative.

This shows the biggest categories and what the members for those categories are in.

This shows each partys categories as a percentage.

Each of these images was done by hand using paint. I know exactly how long each bar is. In pixles. I'll do a compass analysis again some time, but I doubt I'll be doing another of these any time soon

    Great work Dayne.

Some fairly interesting results. The Lib Dem MPs seem quite cosy...

Just not that extreme a party I guess, though I'm more communistic than a few of the Socialists :beard:

Er no, the Conservative party is the party for me... even if it is Liberal

I may just start up a Union pour un Mouvement Populaire though

I find that quite weird actually. Most UKIPers I know are very capitalist.

TSR UKIP are very different to RL UKIP. Still surprisingly fundementalist (or rather non-secular) and nationalistic though.

Indeed they do. My results place me quite comministic though. The results* certainly put me as more radical than all of your MPs, so the results certainly don't put all the radicals in the Socialists

*I use this phrase because I realise the test is far from an accurate depiction of ones political views.

Wouldn't expect anything else from someone who lives in just about the least multicultural area of Britain there is.

Really? Considering my town is incredibly racist and backwards I would be quite surprised.

This study is 4 months old, a lot of stuff has happened since for example an Election, Party Leadership changes etc. I think a new study is in order and to make it representative Every MP from All Parties should participate in the Study. The Leadership of all Parties should send a mass PM to Party members to encourage as many as possible to participate in the study.

I am up for particpating in this study.
