You are a democratic mercantilist. 1 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 48 percent are more extremist than you.

I struggled to understand what it was. A quick glance at Wikipedia suggests it's all about protectionism.

I have no clue what mine means.

You are a Social Democrat. 12 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 48 percent are more extremist than you.

Already changed slightly since I tried it in the Election Thread (albeit only slightly, as I used to be a cosmopolitan social democrat, but I'm still 41% cosmopolitan according to it...

This other one shows a similar result, it seems that after my slow drift leftward (2006-2010), i have moved further right economically.

Given your massive left economic rating i don't think describing yourself as Libertarian really works.

Does anyone mind if I, or someone else, were to start a new thread of political test results considering Dayne is inactive now-a-days?

    On the compass test:
    Economically: 7.50
    Socially: -6.02

    On the spectrum test:
    Right: 6.28
    Libertarian: 7.94

    Not bad.

Of course, I wasn't saying I was a libertarian. I was just saying that I was much further down the libertarian/authoritarian axis than I thought I'd be. I used to be more centrist in that respect, and don't know what questions I answered to get it that way.

I never trust these tests anyway...

Best to do a couple and take a kind of average.

    I'm between +5 and +8 economically and -1 and -5 socially.

Though the first one we used seems most detailed, we should go with that (the non compass).

Yeah, over the last few months I'd be somewhere in between -6.5 to -2.0 economically, and -1 to -5.5 socially, so a fair difference.

    Do you mean this one?
