Re: Megathread of EastEnders MKII
boring ep today. too much ben mitchell, shirley, jay, derek (was barely on but still too much), kim, ray, kat. not enough fats, lucy, max.
I'm realising I dislike most of the characters atm. Need a few deaths. If Ben Mitchell went on a rampage before turning the photo frame on himself that'd be fantastic -
Re: Megathread of EastEnders MKII
I'm hearing a lot of dislike for AJ, but I think he's funny. I think he'll be a nice addition against Tamwar's depressing side. When he was talking to Syed and Christian I was actually laughing during Eastenders! Sadly, they seem to be trying to develop a feud between him and Derek. It's like they went "Hmm, Derek isn't involved with the Masoods. If they're on screen, he won't be! Let's add a new character and get them fighting!"

I had an interesting thought. What if Kat is sleeping with more than one of the men? It's not like she wouldn't...
Yeah the mitchells are boring now.. -
Yeah I agree with that , lose the coin and he's fine.(Original post by beatrice_christina)
I like AJ, BUT why are they making him into the real life Two Face with that stupid coin of his

Re: Megathread of EastEnders MKII
Spoilers- Week of 16/07-19/07. There is no episode on the friday.
Spoiler:ShowMichael is late for Scarlett's medical test. Alfie reluctantly agrees to help him, but when Michael arrives, Janine is mad at him. Next day, he brings her some papers to sign to make him a signatory to the business accounts, raising Janine's suspicions that he's still after her money. She suggests they go to a post-natal class, but Michael leaves when the subject is resuscitation. When Janine comes home, she finds keys to Michael's brand new car and Michael with the safe open. They argue, but Michael insists he is just trying to keep the business going while Janine is gone. Janine later tells Billy to change the safe combination. Another baby becomes ill and Janine panics and needs Michael to be with her, but Michael finds out the safe combo has changed and doesn't turn up. He eventually goes to the hospital, but seeing Janine and Scarlett together makes him feel left out (sounds to me like he's jealous of his baby!).
Lola and Jay try and get free food and drinks from the square by pretending Lola's going into labour when they're about to pay (remind me to try this one day!). It works in one place, but Nico (remember him? Mr. Papadopolous' relative? No, I don't either. He's Fatboy's manager at McKlunky's, the chicken place suddenly no one in Albert Square can go without) isn't falling for it. An argument breaks out after fatboy gives Jay and Lola free food, and Lola pushes Nico into some shelves. Lola kisses Jay, but the police come to arrest her. She spends the night in the cells but only receives a warning. Jay tells her he still loves Abi, and Billy is making her housebound until she gives birth. Shirley offers to watch her for Billy. A only-ever-happens-in-Eastenders accident involving a doorknob leads to Shirley and Lola being locked in a room. Shirley tells Lola that she will be a good mum after they bond over motherhood- Shirley confides in Lola that Carly (her daughter) has told Denise she is having a baby, but does not want to talk to Shirley.
Also, Billy is made captain of Real Walford FC because of his olympic torch publicity, much to Jack's annoyance, Kat's lover gives her the key to a flat and after Alfie is more interested in the football team, she goes there, Rose leaves, and Cora and Patrick pretend to be a couple at a funeral Patrick goes to to convince the widow he's a changed man (I'm guessing because of his racist past). Cora tries to get the widow to give her husband's possessions to the charity shop. Cora and Patrick pretending to be a couple seems to develop a spark...
So, all in all, nothing exciting. -

has Ian been back since he went nuts and walked down the motorway in his PJs?
Still can't wait for Ben to bugger off, getting exceptionally bored of the Mitchells atm.
