Re: HangoverSleep and being sick helps.x(Original post by Welsh Leprecaun)
Drank too much last night whilst on holiday and am now puking and crapping my guts out. Any tips to help recover faster would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: Hangover
The symptoms of a hangover are caused by the bad nights sleep you get because of the alcohol in your system and dehydration. You need to drink lots of water (next time drink before going to bed), and get some sleep.
Also, people saying being sick helps are wrong. The body removes ethanol by converting it to acetic acid to be respired (or stored as fat), and one of the half way points, is ethanal. Ethanal is what makes you sick. Chundering when out drinking the night before removes alcohol in your stomach and so you have a reduced hangover. But chundering in the morning does nothing, as the alcohol is in the system, and you can do nothing about it.
Far too many heavy nights, have bore wisdom... -

A soup and noodles for breakfast helps though. -
Re: HangoverNot exactly a huge haul , you should try going to lectures after a rugby social. Even so, next time down a few pint of water before bed and in the morning a nice cold shower and lots of fruit juice and tea work well for me .(Original post by Welsh Leprecaun)
