A maybe stupid question...

I was wondering after talking to a friend who's into drama and we were talking about the Actors' and singer's and other artists' agents and what they do.

Now my question is if the agents who usually sort out the contracts whilst looking for opportunities for the actor/singer/writer etc... study law or management or either or what???

I would imagine they'd use some kind of standard form contract rather than actually be trained lawyers themselves. Big agencies I imagine might use lawyers for advice on contract questions just as any other firm might.
