I think people wanted to smile or something but they were just making the tough type.. You can see some individuals with a tiny smile on their faces.

One thing that leads to this type of situation is that when you live in a big city you get tired of seeing crazy people. So when you see someone doing something different from the usual you just think "oh just more one crazy person" LoOL

But ya it was a boring attitude..

Who is it exactly that considers English people 'boring'. I've heard of various national stereotypes abput the Englis such as reserved, arrogant, thugish etc but never boring.
