Animals are spiritual too, right now my hamster's checking his horiscope
Dogs are considered with no exception in Islam as being unclean to touch. Anyway, this article should help you:

THIS is why I enjoy the Student Room threads in the small hours...

Are you sure he isn't a Buddha? Does he often seem quite peaceful? Medidate often?

he looks meditative after eating a bone. i'm starting to think that he's probably buddhist.

Maybe he's Shinto, does he come from Japan? Does he have a strong connection with nature and his ancestors?

shinto is a pretty exotic religion for a dog. he's only a mongrel.

Ah but maybe he's trying to add a bit of excitement to an otherwise drab existence. Bitches like an exotic streak surely?

It is their saliva only, that is unclean to touch. Anyway in Islam, animals (and trees/plants) are always following Allah's law as that is in their nature.

(LOL at the thread though!)

He's blates buddhist.

Was either a very good ant or a very bad human in his past life.
The majority of cats adhere to the dogma of Narcissism.
I think you should write a sitcom.
