Wave boards and longboards
Okies, so I had a go at longboarding, which I really enjoyed, but I quite like the idea of a waveboard. Does anyone know anything about 'em, what're decent but not uber expensive ones or how easy it is?
(also, is skateboarding like longboarding or massively different? I have a skateboard but no longboard and haven't had a chance to try what I learned yet
)
Oh, I'm primarily after it as some form off transport, rather than for epic tricks. I'd love to try 'em, but I dunno if I'll ever work up the courage

Re: Wave boards and longboards
Don't know much about waveboards, apparently they're quite hard to ride. Longboarding is definatley a better as a mode of transport than skateboarding, they're built for cruising at higher speeds but aren't really designed for tricks, where as skateboards are more trick orientated.

Re: Wave boards and longboards
If you feel confident on skateboard it you'll find it easy to transfer to longboard.
This may be helpful.
