I know, I never really clicked with Facebook so even if I had it I'd never be on, so it would be a bit pointless really, I'd hate people keep going "I said this to you on Facebook" and then just being like "Yeah... I haven't been on in months" :P The best way to catch me, aside from text is probably normal email but I do have MSN, which I use ocassionally which any of you guys are welcome to have or if you want another way to contact me you're welcome to ask :P

I have to come from from the Dudley area, so it should only be around 30 mins on the train but obviously we're going to drive so it will be about three parts of an hour ish. I don't think I could fit all my stuff in a mini, we've got a clio, so that's not much bigger but I think we'll just about manage it though.

Nah that's cool. However, I think it's mandatory for students to have Facey B.

Bronwen, I've sent you a wall message.

:P My friend's will probably try and convince me to get Facebook when uni starts, that'll be fun. I'll know I truly need one when my mum gets one and tries to convince me to get one too :P

Do you guys think you've got everything all ready and set to move in yet or do you think you'll forget something and there will be a mad rush home/ to Tesco to get it? I think I'll be in the second set of people :P Hopefully not though.

I just need a baking tray and some over mitts. My mum took me round Ikea for a shopping trip and I think I got everything I need. There's loads of back to uni tat in there so make sure you steer well clear.
I feel like the flat is just going to be overloaded with everybodies stuff and there's going to be no room to move around!

If you get some over mitts it'd be mighty handy.

I have an oven mitt! It's a bit girly though, not pink just black, white and overly patterned. I feel organised at the moment but I'm bound to forget at least something. :P For some reason I think it'll be my laptop, haha. I'm pretty sure I have everything like bed sheets, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, tea towels, etc... plus my parents have been putting together a big food box for months for me, but I was reading the info pack thing online and I see nothing about a toaster in the flat! Not happy, unless I've missed it or something like that. You'll have to tell me when you move in if there's a toaster and how many other people there will be in flat seven,

You can use a grill for toast; if you get crumbs on the side I will NOT be happy.

I take it things like an iron, it's board, hoover et cetera are inclusive with the deal. We'll also all have to chip in for cleaning stuff. God I sound so old.

I'm not even that fussed about toast so I don't know why I'm bothered, I'm just too used to having one. I do have a toasted sandwich maker which I'm bringing and makes the best toasties ever so I think we'll all be fine, or someone else might take a toaster :P I was sat there the other day wondering if I should get one and then I decided against it in case we end up with about five of them.

I've got a bit of cleaning stuff already in the boxes my parents have done (I'm an only child, first in the family to go to uni so I think they're getting just a little bit excited :P) and I know all of that comes with it plus there's a kettle and I think a microwave (not 100% though) it's just the plates and cleaning stuff that we need to bring, I think.

It's eighteen for me I just want to move in now, bit bored of the summer. I just hope moving in goes easily, I don't really want to have to make multiple trips with all my stuff or rush to move in and forget stuff. :P

I'm really excited, went to Birmingham Uni with a friend of mine last week (he needed to sort out some stuff for his room there so I tagged along) and we also decided to go past South Campus while we were there and that just got me even more excited about going.

As great as it is to be surrounded by woman, it would be nice to know there's a couple of guys in the halls!

The rooms are OK. The internet was a bit of a pain to set up though.

Great... technology hates me at the best of times, I wonder how many days it will take me to set up the internet, haha. Glad to know the rooms are alright though, I was worried they would be awful

Have you found out if any others have moved in yet or is it just you in the flat at the moment? Also do you know how many you'll be sharing the flat with? I'm nosy, I want to get an idea of what it's going to like before I go

    It's nine people I think.

So far we've got Ryan, Steph, and somebody else who's name I cannot remember. No lounge though which has annoyed me a bit. However, there's plenty of chairs and a bit of room in the kitchen if we all wanted to have a drink and whatnot.

That sounds alright to me. I can't wait to go, I'm super bored of just getting stuff ready. I heard there was like a big lounge somewhere that's shared between all the flats but I can't really remember, seems like ages since I went round on the open day, there's probably something though, I'm pretty sure there's something like it in Oakmount? But I'm not sure. Isn't the kitchen very big then? I thought it would be bigger considering there's nine people sharing.
