As a student, what did you think about the city itself?
Also...can you remember how long it took for you to receive a welcome pack?

Well i still live here so that says alot ... I think the city's great there's alot to do going out wise. Anything else you want to know about Birmingham in general or the university let me know.

what accom are you staying at and where are you coming from ? I stayed at QHC which is the nearest to town, shopping centre and all the clubs (broad street).

In regards to the welcome pack I seriously can't remember though it wont be too long. But as I said before get involved in everything (going out (if your into that thing) societies etc) because the 1st and 2nd years are the best ........ the rest after that get serious lol... well for me anyway

Hi fellow freshers, I have a question and not sure whether this is the right place to post it. Anyway, I went onto the Uni of Bham site, and before we arrive, it mentions something about registering in a my.bham portal.... how do you obtain your username, etc? Thanks

On the website it says they're gonna send us all a welcome pack; maybe it'll come with that or they'll email us?
