Just wondering what kind of jobs you can get with a history degree?

Any graduate job that doesn't specify a degree, like engineering or science jobs etc.

From what I can gather the skills you pick up a good for accountancy, law and many others. Do a subject you love.

Another route could be do a history degree then do a grad diploma in economics, then a masters in economics. Hey presto economist jobs.

The scope is very large.

A lot! The skills you pick up from history are transferable. http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2010/jan/16/history-degree-careers
