So when would i get the 'professional psychologist' status?

How could i be considered a professional psychologist? To be called a psychologist, would i have to get a ph.D, or a masters? Do i have to be 'Chartered', and how would i become 'chartered'?

I need this explaining to me by the kindest of persons as im thinking of applying to psychology!

Thankss

you will need postgraduate training to become chartered. Most specialisms require a doctorate but some masters. Look at the BPS website it gives details of all the different specialisations (ie. clinical, forensic, occupational, educational etc.).... basically you need to make sure you have a BPS accredited degree and then you can apply for post grad stuff.... XD hope this helps X
