Depends on your budget, whether you're willing to share a bedroom, how far from campus you want to live etc. Check out the Imperial College Accommodation Guide Thread for a break down of the different halls. Imperial also has a lot of info and pictures on their website.
Thanks for the reply and thanks for the link to that thread.
I'll be on a budget and I can't share a room since I'm under 18 so the choice will be tough, but the Garden and Weeks Halls look fine. I'm on my phone right now though so can't check out the virtual tours right now. What's your take on those halls and where did you stay yourself? -
Re: Official Imperial Applicants Thread (2012 Entry)The allocation procedure begins in early September so you'll find out around that time.(Original post by Student666)
Does anyone know when we hear back about which halls accom we've got?
If you already have an uncondtional offer prior to the 16 August 2012 you will be made an offer in August (it used to be that unconditional offer holders had to wait with everyone else). -
I've read that on the accommodation FAQ too(Original post by Zottula)

Does anyone have an idea of what "August" means? It's kinda vague...

Re: Official Imperial Applicants Thread (2012 Entry)They are unable to give a definite date for whatever reason so I doubt anyone will know anything more. They didn't give unconditional offer holders the accommodation offers in August last year so we can't go by that either.(Original post by Aliska)

Re: Official Imperial Applicants Thread (2012 Entry)
I just got my AS result today, which is AAAAA with phsycis, maths, further maths, chemistry and economics. however, i was 1 mark of an A in one of my physics modules. I want to do physics at imperial, do i have any chance of getting in with this B? does anyone have the similar situation as me and got an offer? do they look heavily on modules?
-
Re: Official Imperial Applicants Thread (2012 Entry)I know people with lower AS results than you getting offers for physics. It's only one module so don't worry too much as your overall AS results are brilliant. They seem to look for higher scores in Maths than Physics. You will have a chance.(Original post by milliezhao)
