How many marks in an actual maths paper is 8 UMS marks equivalent to?

Depends on the grade boundaries. Look them up for the module and it's pretty simple to work out.

Depends on the grade boundaries and the paper (usually a change of 0-8 UMS carries a different number of raw marks than 92-100UMS)

8 ums is 8%, so 8 ums is 6 marks.
*edit* Thats assuming perfect grade boundaries like 60/75 for an A.

The grade boundaries were slightly lower than usual for this paper (C1) - 58/75 for an A
