Hey, for those asking about HSBC telephone interview, it's purely competency based, and I received an e-mail like 30 minutes later to say again that I passed the minimum requirements, but that there are so many applicants that they will conduct a final review before inviting anyone to the final round.

Re: OFFICIAL: 2012 Graduate Scheme Applications
Did anyone got this mail from BNP:

Thank you for your application for the Structured Finance Graduate Programme with BNP Paribas.

After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we will not be progressing you to the next stage of our selection process for this role, however we do feel that your skills set may be suited to other graduate opportunities.

Please email Bnppgrad12@alexmann.com and inform us as to which other role you would like to be considered for. We would appreciate it if you could respond to this email by the 19th October as we will be unable to make any changes after this date.

We would like to thank you for the interest you have shown in BNP Paribas and wish you every success with your job search.

    Kind regards,

So, applied to (all Asset Management / PWM):
    GS (AM/PWM)
    BarWealth
    Citi (PWM)
JPM (AM) - will be fast-tracked due to internship.
    CS (AM)
    - no response from any past doing the tests. Have a contact at MS who said they may have some room in PWM, so need to follow that up.
Also got contacted by a recruitment agency on LinkedIn regarding a role in one of the UK's largest Family Offices (am doing a third round next week).

I thought JP did not do summer internships for AM. Did you do off-cycle?

Nope, Summer. It's just a fairly small program (there were 20 of us, across both product and support roles). Which desk did you apply for?
