Re: Man stoned to death in US because the bible says to stone gaysAnd once again, an angry reply by someone who didn't understand what I wrote. I don't blame Christianity, I explicitly said as much, no bloody idea how you missed it, so there's a lot of irony to be had in you calling me a retard.(Original post by DdotT)
Atrocities in the past few decades?
Name some in the past few decades.
And you blame christianity? anything for a tard like you to put the blame on the relgions you despise so much. Maybe you should blame the actual idiots who take the bible word for word rather then the whole relgion (billions who do not take it so literally).
Also doesn't the 10 Commandments say thy shall not kill?
If so (im certain ^^) then it its a bit of a contradiction, but any fool with a tiny bit of knowledge could work out the 10 commandements would overall all the other 'laws' which contradict the 10. -
Re: Man stoned to death in US because the bible says to stone gaysYou're forgetting that I'm not the omnipresent, omniscient and omnibenevolent creator of the universe.(Original post by Protoman2050)
What would you have done if you were faced leading a fledgling nation that was being attacked and raided over centuries by another nation? The Amalekites were not targeted by their race, as many served in the Israelite army without issue. The ones who didn't integrate, and remained behind in their barbarous ways were targeted to end the violence.
I'd hate to see you leading Israel back then, because you apparently can't make tough decisions. You couldn't bring yourself to say "We have to utterly destroy these people, or they're going to continue their attacks in some form or another."
Answer me this: what would you have done in the face of this real threat, not an imagined one like the perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide? -

Re: Man stoned to death in US because the bible says to stone gaysNot really, in fact not at all, it's not as if we didn't know christian fundamentalism didn't exist in america, just not nearly as much as islamic fundamentalism in the middle east where it's actually law (becauase obviously the religion dictates it to be law)...(Original post by nmudz_009)
A slap n the face for people who bash islam/pakistan/middleast!Last edited by Bulbasaur; 24-08-2011 at 09:22. -
Re: Man stoned to death in US because the bible says to stone gaysFirstly why would i be defending the religion if i was gay?(Original post by Protoman2050)
It says do not murder, not do not kill.
And you all are being hostile and oversensitive. You can do what you want.
Something tells me that you just enjoy being offended. You could've just walked away. But instead, you keep responding. Do you enjoy being offended? You do, because being offended allows you to keep justifying this wasteful use of resources. If only you had thicker skins. Stop trying to justify your practices, okay? I'm not stopping you. If you have to justify your sexuality to others, maybe you should either a) change, or b) ignore the criticism.
You're treating your opinion as if it's fact, but when I do the same, I'm somehow wrong?
Besides, don't you have more important things to do than post on an Internet forum?
And I highly doubt you're as marginalized as you claim. I know plenty of respected physicians and surgeons who are gay, including the chief of staff of my local hospital. If he was so marginalized, he wouldn't've risen to that position.
It seems that you're all conspiring to suppress my own free speech. It's okay for you to pontificate about how being gay is okay, but I can't say the reverse without getting a backlash.
You're just mad that you're not heterosexual, and now you're taking out your anger on me because I am. There are some things we just have to accept in life and certain realities we have to learn to acknowledge, like the differences between me as heterosexual and you as of homosexual. You just can't fight nature or the normal social order of things. Please stop blaming me for things that are out of my control.
And you are damaging your cause by lashing out at me. Do you really think people want to support a group that takes any criticism as some sort of personal attack? I've never taken any of your criticisms as personal attacks.
Bottom line: stop defending yourselves from other people. March is right, the world would be better off if people didn't need to justify their actions to everyone. You don't need to, and I don't need to.
You presented your point as if it was fact and i presented and raped your point.
