Re: Exeter Accommodation Questions ThreadYikes(Original post by Jemeter)
3. I've climbed up Cardiac Hill once, and I never want to do it again... but it was very late at night and I'm from somewhere where hills are a figment of our imaginations...
Rowe House it is, then! Thank you

What were your choices? I'm sure you won't have to wait long now. Just keep checking your email.Ok, having demonstrated the patience of a saint, I now have an offer. Lafrowda standard. Cheap and hopefully cheerful, we'll see.(Original post by allbritishgirl)
I want one too!! :unimpressed
Am I right in thinking that I have to accept the offer within 14 days if I want it, and I have to pay the deposit within 14 days as well, e.g. I have to find £300 in the next few days.
Or can I accept it, and then wait til later when everybody else pays the deposit to pay...? -

What do you mean? How does it matter which block it is? They're all in roughly the same place.(Original post by mathsmusicfrench)

Re: Exeter Accommodation Questions ThreadThey are, but different blocks are newer/older/been refurbished/not been refurbished. ANd they have different numbes of flats per block and people per flat... Block E has 44 rooms in total, split over 4 flats or floors or whatever you call them, for example.(Original post by sophisticated)

EDIT: I think that only really goes for Lafrowda, lots of other places are the same throughout the whole thing!Last edited by mathsmusicfrench; 04-07-2012 at 19:06. -
Re: Exeter Accommodation Questions ThreadAll the remaining standard blocks of Lafrowda have been refurbished (not especially recently, but it's been done) and they're all much of a muchness in terms of size.(Original post by mathsmusicfrench)

I'm pretty sure E is one of the ones at the top of the map - probably the left-most one, but I wouldn't swear to it...

Re: Exeter Accommodation Questions Thread
Hello! Got an offer too, Lafrowda block E. It's a single standard, and after i've made my application, I was told that though en-suite rooms were great in Lafrowda, standards really weren't, especially bathrooms. Now i don't know if i should take it. I'm not really picky, so i'd just like to know if it's that bad. Some feedback please ?
I think I will do just that.
