Re: Lloyds Scholars SchemeHow long has it been exactly? Because mine took ages to come through(Original post by Hendlor)
Thanks for the advice, but I have already checked my junk email boxes and there is nothing from Lloyds in there. I have even sent an email to the contact address on the Lloyds Scholars website (not the no reply one), but there has been no response. I thought I would get an email even if I was unsuccessful. -
Re: Lloyds Scholars Scheme
Just come off phone interview. Not expecting much...I completely forgot about it and had to rearrange my plans so asked her to ring back in 5 minutes. My good God what a terrible start :')
Felt like a right pillock. The interview itself went pretty well though, but till assume it was unsuccessful... Ah well

I've booked mine for the 29/08 in Sheffield too, I think that there are 15 places available per institution but I haven't got a clue how many attend each assessment centre! -

Re: Lloyds Scholars Scheme
How long does it take for the first stage in the application?
When they asked for a CV or personal statement I attached my Uni personal statement :/ (slow moment...)
Is that what they was asking for, or was it meant to be a personal statement regarding to why I would like to be part of the scheme?.
Ive done the first stage over a week now :/ . Any info on what could of happened?Last edited by Kdot; 01-08-2012 at 19:43. -

I think you're going to have to wait for a while until you hear from them but if you're lucky (or really talented..
) they'll send you an email confirming your passing to the next 'level' etc.. or something.

I got through to the AC, and have only been offered Edinburgh where Sheffield or Solihul would be way more practical. Someone said to email, does anybody know what address I should use?? Thanks

Doesn't Lloyds have a head office in London?Last edited by DavidCrow; 03-08-2012 at 10:23. -

Re: Lloyds Scholars SchemeI have already emailed them, twice and no reply. I emailed them two weeks ago and then the next week. No reply at all. I used the email address on the lloyds scholar website, not the no reply one. So either they are ignoring me or not looking at their emails.(Original post by AmyBarbie)
Why don't you just email them then?

I'm a med applicant. What email? And why?
We have previously contacted (some of) you regarding the course you are studying and the Lloyds Scholars programme.
The programme does not specify any particular course of study, however there are some courses that, by their very nature, do not sit comfortably with the aims of the programme. These include medical studies, dentistry and veterinary studies. I will try to explain the reasons below: ...?
