Got a phone interview on Wednesday. Am nervous because I've never had a phone interview before

Haha same, the last few questions threw me off a bit :/
When did you do the test? Pretty sure I've flopped it now

To anyone who's freaking out about not hearing back, I was pretty sure I failed the online test, but I heard back from Lloyds 4 working days after I did the test. They're just taking their time sifting through applicants

Hi all, if anyone has any specific questions or queries about the scheme, feel free to contact me via private message. I'm more than happy to answer people's questions about what the scholarship is like having been on the scheme for this past year. I'd vouch for the Programme any day of the week.

But please note, I won't answer questions which may give you a distinct advantage over other candidates! So please don't inquire about the ins and outs of the numerical reasoning test, or the questions that come up in the telephone interview etc.

    ATB all!

Just to clarify, are the internships compulsory?

Also, when you submit the online form, do we have to do the numerical test straight away?

No you send off the application form and then they'll email you If successful with the link to do the numeracy test.

I think just LLB Law? If the internships are compulsory, I don't think I'll apply..10 weeks at Lloyd's in 1st and 2nd year is too much of a commitment..and one must be in the summer of second year according to the site.

Nah, they assess your application first, and then if successful will provide a link for you to take the test within a set timescale.

I think the website said atleast one internship. So I think it's only compulsory to do one. And usually they get back to you about the numerical test the next day if you are successful

Ah that sounds alright then if you can choose just the first year internship. Nothing to lose I guess.

    10 weeks

    18k pro rated salary

    £346.2 hours per week

    * 10

    £3462 for a 10 week internship.

No tax due to £8105 threshold for personal allowance.

I wonder what the hours are like.

You can do up to two internships, but if you only do one it is the second one (between second and third year) which is compulsory. Hours depend on which area of the business you are working in (I have friends working in departments where they need to be flexible so some days have been asked to work at the weekend), but most (inc me) are expecting to work 9-5 (although again my department have said its flexible, if i want to cut my lunch break, or come in late one day and leave later I can).

What departments are there to work in?
