...I somehow managed to pass. How long until I hear about the assessment centre
I had the telephone interview today also. You said you managed to pass, did you get sent an email saying you went through this stage? If so that's really fast...

    Re: Lloyds Scholars Scheme
Is no-one else concerned by the lack of transparency from Lloyds? Other scholarships I have found through UCL have clearly listed the amounts they award to potential students etc. but all I can find through the UCL website is this:

Successful candidates will receive a minimum bursary of £1,000 per year, conditional in year 3 on grades achieved in years 1 and 2. The bursary will be paid at the start of the academic year to assist with the costs of living and studying.

Additional awards, based on academic performance, will be made to those who achieve eligible grades during years 1, 2 and 3. Funding will be extended for those scholars on a four-year programmes.

Participating students will be paid a pro-rated salary of approximately £18,000, or £350 per week, for their paid internships. The intern will have access to a mentor who will provide ideas and encouragement about future career opportunities. Additionally, upon graduation, successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for the Lloyds Graduate Leadership Programme.

If anyone knows how much the additional awards are, or what the maximum award for the bursary is, I would very much like to know.

I have messaged some of the members on the Scholars programme for more information, but if they prefer to respond here for the benefit of other TSR members that is also great

Hey, guys that have been applying - I'm wondering about the personal statement/CV bit; did you just put your UCAS PS, or write specifically for Lloyds?

Hi all, if anyone has any specific questions or queries about the scheme, feel free to contact me via private message. I'm more than happy to answer people's questions about what the scholarship is like having been on the scheme for this past year. I'd vouch for the Programme any day of the week.

But please note, I won't answer questions which may give you a distinct advantage over other candidates! So please don't inquire about the ins and outs of the numerical reasoning test, or the questions that come up in the telephone interview etc.

    ATB all!
    Hi there
I just had a question about your thoughts on my degree. I'm doing History & English, with a personal statement obviously engineered for that. I've heard loads of history graduates are City bankers and so on, so it can't be an unsuitable degree, but do you think I stand a realistic chance among the super mathematical economics undergraduates?
    Thanks
