Absolutely no drug is 'harmless' or 'completely safe'.

Anyone can have a bad trip, a nasty reaction or do something while their judgement and senses are lessened. Hell when most people die from taking ecstasy it's because they get too hot or drink too much water and give themselves sodium poisoning.

You sound like a jaded hippie desperately campaigning for the intellectual benefits of LSD. Don't try to hide behind it and claim it opens minds and improves people. Drugs are there to enhance enjoyment, nothing more, nothing less. At least be honest about it.

Mate I used to take a lot of it and the simple answer long term it ****s you up. I used to love it but stopped taking it because I was growing increasingly dependant on it. I started to take it regularly because it was good fun but after a while it started warping how I viewed my relationship, my friendships everything really. Then i started taking it to escape from the ****ed up state that I had caused my life to become.

I still love my hallocegens but I stick to natural ones like mushrooms and mescaline. Far less damaging to your psyche.

Seriously, try some hallucinogens. I went to the Netherlands with some friends and we did some truffles (shrooms) and it was an absolutely experience. Everything around you changes and nothing is dull at all.

You sound a complete **** to be honest. "It was aight"....the truth is you probably took a stupidly small weak amount of LSD one night with your mates that hardly gave you any affect which makes you feel you can talk on here in the "Yeah, well, I took it, look at me, I'm fine it was aight"...

I've seen people tripping on LSD, and seen some scary ****. I've seen people run for miles because they think they're going to be killed by some **** they're imagining. I've seen people jumping on moving cars, only god knows how they didn't die those nights.

Its can be a completely crazy drug.

There is a stigma perpetuated by both the newer users and the carebearing social rulers. The newer users like to use the idea that it is a hardcore drug and beef it up to be this nasty drop of acid that will destroy a weak mind. The government carebears do the same thing; I have no idea why... Probably because tryptamine research funded by the government was very abrupt and wasnt very well recorded either (the independant research however was very concise), didnt have the samples of the independant studies in both the substance or the subjects they used (independant studies like this often ask for volunteers as they cant afford it; so are more likely to engage with individuals who WANT to experience a psychadelic, whereas government projects often pay people).

I wouldnt have said the government research was biased, it just wasnt very well excecuted, and this led to the stigma that is ascoiated with it (Scientists tell governments its a dangerous drug, government tells media, mums listen to media, mums tell kids, kids take drug, kids think they are hardcore; beef themselves up by beefing up the potential of the drug).

I have taken A LOT of LSD, I also suffer from Bi-Polar depression AND Aspergers Syndrome, FML, However, I had these disorders BEFORE I took LSD, and I will had them after I quit. It didnt magnify any attributes of either disorder, simply gave me something to think about and an experience that I would recommend to anyone. The only real danger is the chance of flashbacks (which could happen at any time and triggered by almost anything; you could be in an interview!), where the experience repeats itself, however, if you have flashbacks you will likely have taken A LOT of the stuff, and are therefore more than qualified to survive that situation with your dignity in tact.

What an utterly ridiculous and arbitrary thing to base your decision on. Take the prohibition of alcohol for example, one year it was legal, therefore by your logic 'okay to take', the next year it suddenly becomes illegal, now all of a sudden something that you would willingly take, you're suddenly not willing to, just because some guy has drawn an imaginary line and changed the name from 'legal' to 'illegal'. Now a few years later, it suddenly renamed again to 'legal' and you'd drink it again.

Nothing has changed to the alcohol between being named legal and illegal, it's still the same drug, it's an arbitrary classification, it doesn't change anything about the substance so to base your decision on this arbitrary classification that someone, somewhere has decided upon is foolish.

The only extra consideration is the fact that you could serve a sentence. However, this becomes a non-issue when you realise that internal possession does not count as possession and you cannot be sentenced for being on LSD. If you had it in your pocket and were caught with it, that's different but LSD is odorless and colourless, its put on a piece of paper. If you're telling me you can't hide a tiny little piece of paper that no one can smell, then you deserve to be caught with it.

LSD is too dangerous unless you have friends who are willing to look after you for more than 12 hours just in case you did something stupid, like started peeling your own skin off thinking you're an orange

I think most people go for ketamine or mushrooms to achieve a similar 'high' and trip out. Ketamine is fairly ok at that and only lasts about 2-3hrs when tripping out. In smaller doses it will last even shorter time but without giving you a trip, just some 'cool special effects' on what you're seeing....


In my opinion I would rather do mdma/e on a night out than smoke weed... but obviously I don't encourage any drug use...

Oh and as to the reason it is still illegal; the monkeys in the government are too scared to voice ideas of legalising it (even for research purposes) as, as with Marijuana, they will be slamed into the ground and never elected for anythign BECAUSE of the stigma, its a pathetic self perpetuating circle really. Sad too, if it wasn't for the discovery of LSD by Hoffman ALL those years ago, we might be YEARS behind in the fields of neurochemistry, and even neuroscience.

the first time i took it? u get this tiney small paper ...of like 3 milimetres wide.....and then it looks so small....i was in a club one day and i swallowed it...it had a sign on it of a mushroom or a fairytailcreature.....

and the effect was ernormilsly strong and intresting and i had sex also during the trip....

( do notice? like beer and so...the hangover was also enourmous )
