Politics extra-reading

Hey, I'm going into my 3rd ear at college with the aim to going on and studying politics at university.

I was curious to what people would suggest as some good reading material i could look at. If anyone has any ideas they would be great.

Read The Constant Gardener by Le Carre. It's a fiction book but it shows linked in event that could be related to real life events happening here and now. It addresses the issue of government corruption etc.
