Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012
Discussion of individual medical schools and their courses for applicants and current students. Not for all those 'Am I Good Enough' questions.

Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012It can't hurt to call them up; I'd do it if I were you. I'd rather call unnecessarily than miss the deadline altogether.(Original post by StockholmBoy)
If you are a non-UK resident they don't expect you to send CRB documentation right?
I sent the equivalent of a CRB for Sweden which UCL accepted but Imperial wouldn't respond to my e-mail asking for confirmation that they accepted it. Would you call to make sure? -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012They won't. You'll have to email them to confirm.(Original post by imnotherehonest)
CRB disclosure arrived today
Now I only have to worry whether the health assessment questionnaire got lost in the post...
Does anyone know if they confirm when they have recieved it? -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012Do they bother replying is the question...(Original post by italienmoose)
They won't. You'll have to email them to confirm. -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012They do, but it sometimes takes a couple of days.(Original post by :)!)
Do they bother replying is the question... -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012When I e-mailed them I just got an automated-reply telling me to stop bothering them(Original post by :)!)
Do they bother replying is the question...
I e-mailed them again a few weeks later and then they confirmed they had recieved them so I suppose it depends on the amount of work they have at the time. -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012Yep that's fine. I did the same. CRB on non UK residents is useless because you have no records in the UK.(Original post by StockholmBoy)

Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012They send an email saying... "Both your Prospective medical student questionnaire and your Immunisation record form have been received at Occupational Health Imperial College and you have been deemed fit to begin medical studies." etc in July.(Original post by imnotherehonest)

They don't do a similar thing for CRB/certificate of good conduct. -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012How long did it take for you to recieve that email after sending off your forms?(Original post by Large Donkeys)

Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012I think that email gets sent at the same to everyone. Got it on the 15th of July last year. Apparently they also send the "We have not received your forms" email at the same time.(Original post by <XOXO>)
How long did it take for you to recieve that email after sending off your forms?
Can't remember exactly when I sent off my forms. Guessing either May or June. -
Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012Thanks, that's good to know(Original post by Large Donkeys)

Well, they do e-mail you if you make a mistake on the CRB form...
I know they recieved that!

Re: Imperial College Medicine Applicants 2012No, I think in one of the various letters in the offer pack it said you can leave the ISA stuff blank. But if you've ticked some of the stuff, no need to worry, because I did and they still accepted it.(Original post by 768mango)
Did we have to apply for an ISA registration on the CRB form?
I know I am too late so I am bit worried.

Who do I need to email to confirm if they've received my health questionnaire? OH or medical admissions, or does it not matter?
Thanks in advance.
