Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!Aw thanks, bet yours are good then. Haha you do, i only got A*'s in the mods, but i'm just glad i didn't fail any exams and am going to sixth form(Original post by hazelsaurus)
your results are awesome, I got very similar, except I don't think they're TSR-awesome.. you need at least 5A*s to qualify for that

Lol @ you little kids getting happy over GCSEs...
GCSEs are piss-easy
Don't know why you guys have been negged, GCSE is easy compared to A-level/higher education. Perhaps students on here who worked their ass off to get these grades don't want to acknowledge that education will only get harder. Neg me all you want, I love it

Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!I know -_- they've only just overcome their first academic hurdle. They won't understand until they start A-Levels so screw the neggers.(Original post by pinda.college)

Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!I know what you mean, I've taken some AS modules already alongside my GCSEs, they make GCSEs look like a walk in the park, whereas A-Levels are more like walking through a Libyan Park, under gunfire. Still, I got As in both papers I did for AS.(Original post by Sighrawr)

What modules did you take if you don't mind me asking? -
Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!
Well done to everyone that's posted here there's some amazing results but im just warning you all, GCSEs are NOTHING compared to A Levels... I found this out when I didn't to 1 bit of revision for my GCSEs and still managed to get 'decent' grades considering no revision because im naturally smart, then i went to college and found it a complete shock, just warning ya :P

Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!
1 A*, 3 A's, 7 B's and 3 C's.
Well, I'm no straight A student but I've tried my best I don't think they're too bad, I've done well in the subjects I want to take in college anyway
I know that I'm gonna try my absolute hardest for my A-Levels, I'm going to do whatever it takes to get a degree in computer science at a decent university.

Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!Haha, I did Additional Maths, which is essentially C1/C2 material - although it's easier than C3/C4 material, it was still a step up! Also I did AS French Speaking, and no, I'm not French. You have to basically be able to translate and speak about a passage of writing perfectly, and then talk about it - then talk about a topic of your choice, you might get asked anything! Blows GCSE French out of the water!(Original post by Sighrawr)

Re: Brag about your gcse results here!!!
Not GCSE, but got my results for the extra GCSE-level credits I had to do on my Access course to get into what was originally my third choice uni for Social Work. As if a one-year Access course was not enough, I had to do an extra portfolio of Maths and English work to get 12 credits, when all other unis require six credits at English and at Maths to accept Access students. I basically had to do double the work! Had to work my ass off for what was my third choice uni (but I fell in love with Caerleon anyway)!
