How did the people who already know find out about their accomodation? Was it an email or letter?

Sorry for being a bit of a noob but I kinda am... what are you meaning by shed? Is it the people who share the same kitchen/toilets?
Z sheds are a nickname for some blocks in Horwood halls, just for those specific 'sheds'.

Its a letter as far as i'm aware as you also have to sign and return a contract agreement.

    Holly cross :/

My mum only went behind my back and booked the most expensive accommodation. I can't afford this. I told her, I don't really mind where I live, I'm probably not going to be in their most of the time, she said you best of be comfortable. How am I supposed to afford £3793 a year . Does anyone know who to contact about getting transferred?

I know premier on suite's are in high demand and i don't mean to sound ungrateful for getting one, but I don't want satellite TV or a king size bed. I just want a cheap place to sleep at night.

Been on facebook, emailed accommodation team and I think I've managed to transfer too Horwood block M room 32. I'll find out on Monday If the transfer went through. I think i remember reading somewhere that boys and girls are segregated when it comes to sharing kitchen and toilet facilities. Does that mean, because I transferred with a girl, i'll be living with girls, or Is it all just a mixed bag?

    Anyone else in horwood M?

They have a reputation for being full of interesting people. May not happen this year. Last year there was a lot of sex in those buildings.

Anyone know what the Hawthorn letter codes are on about?

I know the letter is the block but what are the two numbers about? Is one the floor & the other the room?
