    Re: Physiotherapy: 2012 entry
The Reason I got declined previously was because of my I didn't meet full GCSE entry requirements or they wanted me to have an A-Level in biology as well as my DDD in Sports and exercise sciences BTEC. I've got an interview for a Part-time Physiotherapy BSc @ University Of Essex (Colchester) but i was thinking that it might not be funded by the NHS and the bursaries wont be as much.

BTW I got declined from all 5 universities without an interview. and realised if i had applied to certain universities like, Southampton, UWE, Oxford Brookes, Brighton the would be no reason why I would get declined as the other universities told me my PS was very strong when i called them for feedback.

No news as of yet. I'm perhaps counting my chickadee's with that previous post! I guess I've accepted that it doesn't really matter (much) where I study. The important thing is the outcome in three and a bit years.
Incidently I did send an email today to Lynda (fully aware that it is a fruitless task) to perhaps curry favour in my position in the waiting list informing her that I have already fulfilled the entry requirements on my ACCESS course. I figured it can't hurt, although I'm aware it is an official protocol that is being followed (better to regret something you did than something you didn't eh?.....except perhaps mentioning about self directed study in the admissions interview :-/ hah). Thanks for asking though :-)

Ah I see. It can't drag on much longer I wouldn't have thought. I think you are doing the right thing though. I think you have a period where you can still switch can't you? Not so sure, but you can withdraw an acceptance on UCAS somehow or other from memory. And as for the self directed study, well yes that was something to shout about :-)

    Hi Emily
No news from Lynda yet. I spoke to her on the applicant day and she told me that they would be waiting to see how many people take up their offers and exactly how many spaces they are awarded onto the course as the final number was still unknown. She told me that she would be in contact by 5th May. I believe the UCAS deadline is the 9th (although I read on UCAS track that its different for each individual so it might be worth checking this for yourself on track).
Have you any other offers to fall back on? Good luck with it :-)

It was a very sad day the other day... I declined all four of my offers. After careful consideration I realised that with my health I would not be able to do Physio and that it wasn't going to be the most suitable course for me. Luckily I have an offer to do another course at the Uni of Bham but declining all your offers= very scary! Anyone want one of my old offers LOL.
So now I have to say... I don't think I am any longer the eagerphysiostudent!! x

I'd quite like your offers :p: I have 3 rejections, one offer and still waiting on St George's to reply...4 offers, you must have been a strong candidate!!! Sorry to hear you chose to change direction though, hope it works out well for you, what's your other course at Bham?

No still no news for me, even though it's 5th of May today.
What about you? I did check UCAS Track, and no specific date was on there, so i assume it's May 9th like everyone else. I have only one other offer from Birmingham. What about you?

hey, I dont think that you need to reply until you have recieved offers/rejections from all your unis. So if you are still waiting to hear back you will have an extended deadline. Once you do hear back it will give you a date on ucas track. I think this is right information but if youre worried about it check the ucas wensite or give them a call
