Re: Bath 2012 Applicants thread!After I emailed the admissions office with my exam results statement, they replied saying they would contact me if they required any further information. I then received my offer, and after that I uploaded my maths certificate. I haven't had any acknowledgement that they have received the certificate, though!(Original post by Mike93L)

...I received an email a couple of days ago acknowledging my application.
Do they interview ALL pharmacy applicants?...and how long between an acknowledgement and an interview date?
Has anybody had an interview/offer for pharmacy yet??!!

I got an offer from Bath to do Social Sciences a couple days ago.
my offers AAB guess my course slightly different from yours but there the same department. Dont worry guys youll be fine your all so intellegent you make me feel stupid :P Good luck everyone hope all goes well

Re: Bath 2012 Applicants thread!I just got an email from Bath inviting me for an interview for Chemistry! Has anyone got any tips? Also does anyone know if they will ask any chemistry questions that i have to know? I really need this to go well as it is my top choice. The email said the interview will focus on my personal statement but I want to be prepared just in case.

Re: Bath 2012 Applicants thread!I had an interview, last week and got an offer the day after. It's mainly "why Bath?" And "Why Chemistry?" However I was asked some chemistry questions, but they weren't very difficult, at all.(Original post by ikea meatball)

He also taught me something he knew I wouldn't know, to see how I learnt. Which was fine, because I followed him... And I was really interested, which he said came across, he also said that he really liked to see that I had a genuine passion.
However, some people were asked more difficult questions than others... Someone had to draw the reaction for esterification on a white board, whilst others talked about green chemistry, and some even had no chemistry questions! It just depends on the interviewer.
But either way it is really quite informal.
Good luck. May even see you at Bath next year!

They don't. They said at the open day that they never interview for maths unless someone wants an interview (they've never had anyone ask to have one obviously).

I've applied for maths and haven't heard anything from Bath yet, apart from the acknowledgement email and track details. How did they ask for certificates, via email?

The interview was 25 minutes, tbh, I was mortified when he said we'd ran out of time, I really enjoyed it. :P

I do have an interview for chemistry. Do Bath interview all of their chemistry applicants?
If they have applicants that "stand out", they won't hesitate to give them an offer, but if they're in two minds, they'll wait and judge by the quality of the other applicants.
I know that everyone says it's nothing to worry about, but it TRULY ISN'T! -
