Nope, I hate the juggernauts I never take them. On dom I can call three in per game so they offer a good distraction and allow team mates to use the packages and be somewhat productive. It's how I got my 144 win streak playing solo, it came to an end when an idiot decided to take A and triple cap a full clan on Bakara and flipped the spawn so they got B and C. :facepalm2:

I'll take your Juggernaut from an Escort Airdrop then unless someone else takes it before me. Didn't use to like it but that when I was predominantly using aggressive rush tactics so I might be able to use it the Recon Juggernaut better now that I can play more conservatively. I do find both Juggernauts slightly annoying because when you claim them from the package you're instantly equipped. That could waste time getting some kills due to travelling.

I know I mentioned this elsewhere but yeah the assault killstreak definitely needs tweaking. Who would choose a Pave Low over an AC-130 when they both require 12 kills each? And the IMS is airdropped (according to the Official guide, which may be wrong) and takes the same number of kills as the Predator Missile. Plus an Assault Drone takes one more kill than a Reaper?

Those lobbies come 1 in 50 matches. :p:
Which is the best game mode to get a MOAB then? FFA? Also, is Domination a good way to get to longer killstreaks than in, say, TDM? I have changed my assault killstreaks with AC-130 as my highest unlockable one. Not sure how often I'd make it but it should be enjoyable when I do.

Easily Infection. Some maps have spots that are impossible to get to with throwing knives so people have to knife you which will get difficult if you're a good shooter.

I'd say Groundwar, preferably domination. If you play sensible and spawn trap them at 1 flag, while capturing 2, you should hopefully get it(which is how I do mines anyway). & use the specialist class.

Heh not a fan of spawn trapping but I'll try Ground War Domination anyway some time. I tend to use speciaiist when I'm trying to go on longer killstreaks. In one of my full matches where I never died I was placed in the smaller house overlooking the little playground area in Fallen. Running SitRep Pro meant I can hear most people coming and some enemies came in twos so I said thank you very much. I mean it was like camping but I only had free shots because of their stupidity in rushing indoors with me being on top of the stairs I had a little time to prepare and gained an advantage for aiming. I think it took them 5 minutes to finally kill me.

I've tended to stay away from that game mode for being a MOAB farm, although infected/zombies theme really isn't my style. I must be 1 in 1000 on that note.

Do you mean the opposition were all under level 40 (no stingers)? Or that the opposition were all mentally handicapped (no cerebra)?

That's very impressive in any case! What's your standard assault setup? I'm still on the fence about the reaper, not sure if it's worth it or not.

You could change it according to the map? I'd probably prefer a Reaper on Interchange but may be the AH-6 Overwatch on HardHat.

Watched a video of a friend's and looks like RPGs in Drop Zone can be right bitches if you're on the wrong end of them. May be I might play DZ some time.

Most of them were prestiged, between 50-80 and around 2 or 3 were below 40, I can remember it correctly. :colondollar:

ACR-Kick-Silencer
Semtex
Portable Radar
Scavenger Pro
Assassin Pro
Stalker Pro
Assault Package: Predator Missile & for this specific match it was Attack Helicopter + Pavelow.

My other 2nd assault package is identical to this one, except it's Reaper + AC-130 instead of Attack Helicopter + Pavelow. Which I choose depends on the map and Interchange isn't so perfect for this Reaper/AC-130 combination. :colondollar:

DZ is a joke. It's a fun joke, but it's a joke. Everyone seems to think that winning the game revolves around explosives and staying in the "drop zone" for as long as possible, which isn't true at all.

The abundance of explosives means you have to use blast sheild (no killstreaks = barely any UAVs anyway). But staying in the "Drop Zone" doesn't get you any permanent (non-game) XP, so there is no reason to obsess over staying there, unless you want a few killstreaks. But I've found 95% of players don't know this, and literally seem too preoccupied by the thought of free care packages to notice anything but the drop zone.

What I do in DZ (I can normally net 50+ kills, KD ranges from 2 to 50+ depending on how retarded they are) is use Scavenger/ Blast Sheild/ Steady Aim + sub machine gun + dual scorpions (MP9s are better but ... Cod4  ) and just run around the DZ, picking up easy kills from any enemies stupid enough to lie prone on the DZ and try to predict their spawn and abuse it (flank, headglitch, etc.). You can also normally predict where the next DZ is quite easily. Don't; try to stay in the DZ; try to get care packages if anyone is nearby; try to use explosives. In MW3, 90% of bullet guns can drop a person in under 1/2 a second, all the RPG/ etc do is create the illusion of power, when in fact it just leaves you vulnerable for a second or two.

Just like in headquarters, the players who are better at denying the enemy spawn and stopping the enemy get too close (i.e. killwhores) are actually normally the players with the highest win/loss ratios.

Oh cool, I rarely use stalker or portable radar though (mostly because I like ninja and C4).

Of course killstreaks are map-dependent. But I've slowly shadowed away from the reaper. My biggest reasons were; you have to be pretty accurate; it only has 1 set of flares (too easy to take down for a 9 KS); it takes you out of the game; it's too easy to avoid (buildings etc). I find that I average 3, maybe 4 kills. Then I compare that to the AH-6, which normally gets a similar amount of kills, except I can also be getting kills in that time.

I also never use the predator, because it's 1 kill normally + takes you out of the game + the IMS and sentry gun not only get more kills, but can also control traffic flow. I suppose the predator could be good if you were using the Attack Helicopter also.

My assault set-up usually is 3 of; Sentry gun, ah-6, pave low, juggernaut. Juggernaut is absolutely ridiculous.

But I rarely use assault, because 1) specialist is overpowered and perfect for levelling quickly, 2) support UAV + CUAV (no 3rd) + hardline (2 and 1 kill each, repeat) is also overpowered (especially when you consider stacking UAVs will give you an advanced UAV). With that set-up, I can pretty much guarantee permanent UAV and permanent UAV-denial for the other team.

What just happened? Reached prestige 15, level 80 and saw there is an option to prestige again :s-smilie: Saw the leaderboard and no-one is more than prestige 15, but being the idiot I am I chose to use the prestige option again and it went from prestige 15--80 to prestige 15--1 .....

Thanks for the tip. I've seen a few of my friends play it so I thought I could give it a try and join in. Did play on it once without realise it was DZ and didn't have a good match but it was Outpost and I never had the correct weapon for it. The joys of joining a game midway with an invite. I might have an experiment on HQ, Demolition and Sabotage since I've played a fair bit of S&D. I figure there is too much noise to make SitRep Pro count on DZ.

It's not that hectic, you could definitely use sound in most maps (except maybe dome, that is ridiculous). My main point was, don't use a launcher, because you will often find yourself in the middle of their spawn switch, and you'll need a primary + machine pistol to survive. Per life, you'll get more kills with an mp9 than an RPG.
