Yeah I play it often....not much difference from normal games...just a bit harder (apart from domination) coz the better all play the same game mode at the same time
So a bit like a lobby of everyone using Quickdraw Pro in Barebones but with killstreaks. Hmmm might look into it.

Played some Black Ops SND in a party earlier. People still rage quit and then try and call you out. :facepalm2:

You can quickscope in Black Ops? I err "hardscoped" with the PSG1 and got hitmarkers last time I played. Even if I shoot someone in the leg or arm, I expect to register a hit at least (not necessarily a kill). Wouldn't mind if I got their foot. It would be nice to unlock Scout Pro before I die.

Oh yeah it's pretty much identical timing to COD 4, the consistency is horrible though and you get a tonne of hitmarkers all the time. I think I'll jump on MW3 tonight if you or anyone else is around.

Do you know how to cancel the beacons as well btw? I keep getting the popups whenever ever anyone starts playing MW3 and they cover the radar on FIFA which is annoying.

Oh, well I think I've read that's kinda what happens with quickscoping. I used to think they were all amazing but it usually takes them 5-10 kills to get me. I'll be on tonight. Played yesterday and a teammate got a MOAB in core TDM in Village. It made the sky look like the autumn gun camo. I don't think the opponents should be informed that it's coming, since a few quit, otherwise why bother having as a killstreak unless you wish to join the montage bandwagon on Youtube? Oh and I wonder if that Osprey I killed using the AC-130 was actually a friendly one since that communications guy each team has doesn't reach to someone using an AC-130. Not sure if they say something anyway. I know they do if it's a Pave Low. It was in core TDM as well (Carbon) but when I first used the Osprey Gunner I managed to stupidly shoot myself while I was on the ground operating it with the laptop so there are small forms of friendly fire enabled in core.

I think it should work by going to settings > preferences > then untick notifications. Or you could just his the guide button > beacons and activity > my beacons. I did both since they're both getting on my nerves. Would be nice if we could have a notification based on instructions, like x player started x game. I'm not really interested in being told you play FIFA. But yeah the notifications pop up in stupid areas on FIFA and it happens on PGA too.

Cool, I'll be around after 7 some time. Yeah I guess a MOAB is more just of an achievement thing rather than being effective, pretty decent on a FFA as it just acts like a nuke and wins you the game.

Ah I think I need the second one. The standard notifications aren't too bad, but the beacon ones are a lot bigger and get in the way. I set it thinking it would only apply to when I'm playing on MW3 not whenever anyone else is.

    Gold camo on the L86.

Which guns do people use in hardcore mode? Thinking of using the MK14. Was going to use a shotgun with Range but there's not much point as I won't be running around as much as in core.

I might wind people up as use the Dragunov in Dome in core.

Silenced Assault rifle or Submachine gun  As long as it's full automatic fire, you'll be fine

Be invisible to UAV, with the perk, whose name escapes me  Vicotry shall be yours

Heh. I ended up using the ACR or UMP45 anyway. I don't understand why people use the red dot sight on the ACR as the iron sights are really good, for me anyway. I noticed the UAV spam but I do run Blind Eye sometimes. If I don't I'll have Quickdraw ready for an incoming Predator Missile and place down the Trophy System. Managed to ruin someone's seemingly inevitable winning killcam with one and our side snatched victory. Apparently the MK14 is a one hit kill in hardcore. Next time I play Hardcore I just might run the support strike package this time.

Looks like more of the same old stuff to me.

And who thought it would be a good idea to showcase that the knife is still just click-to-win? Pretty disappointing.

Hardcore domination, is absolutely horrendous.... campers everywhere

Also... it seems that some people have aimbot... cross map headshot unscoped by an mk14 against me... ridiculous

hardcore dom or tdm is full of campers. Hardcore hqpro is a bit better though.

Domination can be horrendous with most people camping (especially those not playing the objective) anyway, let alone hardcore.

I've only played hardcore TDM and KC though. I love it when a teammate runs through your line of sights and I'm about to snipe an enemy player only for me to get a teammate instead, which is then returned to me.

Got my final pro perk, Recon. Woo! Used mostly TDM and a little KC to get it Pro rather than put up with DZ. People can be so predictable where they are on the maps I don't need to see or hear them. So, SitRep took the longest for me to upgrade to the Pro version.

Why do people like Foundation D:
The snipers think all those little catwalks keep them safe... just bring an mk14 though and they're easy enough to dig out of their little spots

Hit my first triple MOAB earlier, ACR on resistance. Groundwar players are horrible.
